Stanza 10.101.1

उद्बु॑ध्यध्वं॒ सम॑नसः सखायः॒ सम॒ग्निमि॑न्ध्वं ब॒हवः॒ सनी॑ळाः | द॒धि॒क्राम॒ग्निमु॒षसं॑ च दे॒वीमिन्द्रा॑व॒तोऽव॑से॒ नि ह्व॑ये वः ||

úd budhyadhvaṁ sámanasaḥ sakhāyaḥ sám agním indhvam bahávaḥ sánīḷāḥ dadhikrā́m agním uṣásaṁ ca devī́m índrāvató 'vase ní hvaye vaḥ

O friends, united in mind, awaken! Together, ignite the fire, you who are many and share a home. I call upon Agni, Dadhikra, and the divine Dawn for our protection and aid.

Stanza 10.101.2

म॒न्द्रा कृ॑णुध्वं॒ धिय॒ आ त॑नुध्वं॒ नाव॑मरित्र॒पर॑णीं कृणुध्वम् | इष्कृ॑णुध्व॒मायु॒धारं॑ कृणुध्वं॒ प्राञ्चं॑ य॒ज्ञं प्र ण॑यता सखायः ||

mandrā́ kr̥ṇudhvaṁ dhíya ā́ tanudhvaṁ nā́vam aritrapáraṇīṁ kr̥ṇudhvam íṣkr̥ṇudhvam ā́yudhā́raṁ kr̥ṇudhvam prā́ñcaṁ yajñám prá ṇayatā sakhāyaḥ

Make pleasant offerings, extend your thoughts and hymns. Create a ship equipped with oars for transport. Prepare the tools, make everything ready, and lead forth the sacrifice, O friends.

Stanza 10.101.3

यु॒नक्त॒ सीरा॒ वि यु॒गा त॑नुध्वं कृ॒ते योनौ॑ वपते॒ह बीज॑म् | गि॒रा च॑ श्रु॒ष्टिः सभ॑रा॒ अस॑न्नो॒ नेदी॑य॒ इत्सृ॒ण्यः॑ प॒क्वमेया॑त् ||

yunákta sī́rā ví yugā́ tanudhvaṁ kr̥té yónau vapatehá bī́jam girā́ ca śruṣṭíḥ sábharā ásan no nédīya ít sr̥ṇyàḥ pakvám éyāt

Harness the ploughs, extend the yokes. In the prepared furrow, sow the seed. May our song bring abundant fulfillment; may the sickle quickly approach the ripened grain.

Stanza 10.101.4

सीरा॑ युञ्जन्ति क॒वयो॑ यु॒गा वि त॑न्वते॒ पृथ॑क् | धीरा॑ दे॒वेषु॑ सुम्न॒या ||

sī́rā yuñjanti kaváyo yugā́ ví tanvate pŕ̥thak dhī́rā devéṣu sumnayā́

Wise individuals harness the ploughs and extend the yokes. The diligent ones prepare things separately, seeking favor from the gods.

Stanza 10.101.5

निरा॑हा॒वान्कृ॑णोतन॒ सं व॑र॒त्रा द॑धातन | सि॒ञ्चाम॑हा अव॒तमु॒द्रिणं॑ व॒यं सु॒षेक॒मनु॑पक्षितम् ||

nír āhāvā́n kr̥ṇotana sáṁ varatrā́ dadhātana siñcā́mahā avatám udríṇaṁ vayáṁ suṣékam ánupakṣitam

Arrange the buckets, and securely fasten the straps. We will draw water from the well, the well that has a copious stream, is well-formed, and unfailing.

Stanza 10.101.6

इष्कृ॑ताहावमव॒तं सु॑वर॒त्रं सु॑षेच॒नम् | उ॒द्रिणं॑ सिञ्चे॒ अक्षि॑तम् ||

íṣkr̥tāhāvam avatáṁ suvaratráṁ suṣecanám udríṇaṁ siñce ákṣitam

I draw the water with the prepared bucket, the well with good straps, the source of copious flow, the unfailing stream.

Stanza 10.101.7

प्री॒णी॒ताश्वा॑न्हि॒तं ज॑याथ स्वस्ति॒वाहं॒ रथ॒मित्कृ॑णुध्वम् | द्रोणा॑हावमव॒तमश्म॑चक्र॒मंस॑त्रकोशं सिञ्चता नृ॒पाण॑म् ||

prīṇītā́śvān hitáṁ jayātha svastivā́haṁ rátham ít kr̥ṇudhvam dróṇāhāvam avatám áśmacakram áṁsatrakośaṁ siñcatā nr̥pā́ṇam

Refresh the horses, and prepare to win. Equip a chariot that brings good fortune. Draw water from the well with stone wheels and well-made vessels, the drink for heroes.

Stanza 10.101.8

व्र॒जं कृ॑णुध्वं॒ स हि वो॑ नृ॒पाणो॒ वर्म॑ सीव्यध्वं बहु॒ला पृ॒थूनि॑ | पुरः॑ कृणुध्व॒माय॑सी॒रधृ॑ष्टा॒ मा वः॑ सुस्रोच्चम॒सो दृंह॑ता॒ तम् ||

vrajáṁ kr̥ṇudhvaṁ sá hí vo nr̥pā́ṇo várma sīvyadhvam bahulā́ pr̥thū́ni púraḥ kr̥ṇudhvam ā́yasīr ádhr̥ṣṭā mā́ vaḥ susroc camasó dŕ̥ṁhatā tám

Prepare the enclosure, for it is for the heroes' drink. Stitch wide and many pieces of armor. Make iron forts, unassailable ones. Let not your pitcher leak; strengthen it.

Stanza 10.101.9

आ वो॒ धियं॑ य॒ज्ञियां॑ वर्त ऊ॒तये॒ देवा॑ दे॒वीं य॑ज॒तां य॒ज्ञिया॑मि॒ह | सा नो॑ दुहीय॒द्यव॑सेव ग॒त्वी स॒हस्र॑धारा॒ पय॑सा म॒ही गौः ||

ā́ vo dhíyaṁ yajñíyāṁ varta ūtáye dévā devī́ṁ yajatā́ṁ yajñíyām ihá sā́ no duhīyad yávaseva gatvī́ sahásradhārā páyasā mahī́ gaúḥ

Towards you, O Gods, I turn my mind worthy of sacrifice, for help. May that divine mind, like a cow with a thousand streams of milk, yield abundance for us after seeking pasture.

Stanza 10.101.10

आ तू षि॑ञ्च॒ हरि॑मीं॒ द्रोरु॒पस्थे॒ वाशी॑भिस्तक्षताश्म॒न्मयी॑भिः | परि॑ ष्वजध्वं॒ दश॑ क॒क्ष्या॑भिरु॒भे धुरौ॒ प्रति॒ वह्निं॑ युनक्त ||

ā́ tū́ ṣiñca hárim īṁ drór upásthe vā́śībhis takṣatāśmanmáyībhiḥ pári ṣvajadhvaṁ dáśa kakṣyāā̀bhir ubhé dhúrau práti váhniṁ yunakta

Pour the golden liquid into the wooden vessel. Fashion it with stone-made axes. Embrace it with ten straps, and attach both poles to the bearer.

Stanza 10.101.11

उ॒भे धुरौ॒ वह्नि॑रा॒पिब्द॑मानो॒ऽन्तर्योने॑व चरति द्वि॒जानिः॑ | वन॒स्पतिं॒ वन॒ आस्था॑पयध्वं॒ नि षू द॑धिध्व॒मख॑नन्त॒ उत्स॑म् ||

ubhé dhúrau váhnir āpíbdamāno 'ntár yóneva carati dvijā́niḥ vánaspátiṁ vána ā́sthāpayadhvaṁ ní ṣū́ dadhidhvam ákhananta útsam

The bearer moves between both poles, as if within its dwelling. Place the Lord of the Forest in the wood. Establish the source that is not dug.

Stanza 10.101.12

कपृ॑न्नरः कपृ॒थमुद्द॑धातन चो॒दय॑त खु॒दत॒ वाज॑सातये | नि॒ष्टि॒ग्र्यः॑ पु॒त्रमा च्या॑वयो॒तय॒ इन्द्रं॑ स॒बाध॑ इ॒ह सोम॑पीतये ||

kápr̥n naraḥ kapr̥thám úd dadhātana codáyata khudáta vā́jasātaye niṣṭigryàḥ putrám ā́ cyāvayotáya índraṁ sabā́dha ihá sómapītaye

O men, bring forth happiness! Urge on that which brings joy for the gain of strength. Quickly bring down Indra, son of Niṣṭigrī, with his companions, here to drink the Soma.
