Stanza 1.68.1

श्री॒णन्नुप॑ स्था॒द्दिवं॑ भुर॒ण्युः स्था॒तुश्च॒रथ॑म॒क्तून्व्यू॑र्णोत् ||

śrīṇánn úpa sthād dívam bhuraṇyú sthātúś carátham aktū́n vy ūā̀rṇot

That energetic force, brimming with life, ascends to the sky! It unveils the nights and reveals all that stands still and all that moves.

Stanza 1.68.2

परि॒ यदे॑षा॒मेको॒ विश्वे॑षां॒ भुव॑द्दे॒वो दे॒वानां॑ महि॒त्वा ||

pári yád eṣām éko víśveṣām bhúvad devó devā́nām mahitvā́

When this one God, by His immense greatness, became supreme over all the other gods.

Stanza 1.68.3

आदित्ते॒ विश्वे॒ क्रतुं॑ जुषन्त॒ शुष्का॒द्यद्दे॑व जी॒वो जनि॑ष्ठाः ||

ā́d ít te víśve krátuṁ juṣanta śúṣkād yád deva jīvó jániṣṭhāḥ

When you, O God, were born alive from the dry (wood), all beings rejoiced in your wisdom and power.

Stanza 1.68.4

भज॑न्त॒ विश्वे॑ देव॒त्वं नाम॑ ऋ॒तं सप॑न्तो अ॒मृत॒मेवैः॑ ||

bhájanta víśve devatváṁ nā́ma r̥táṁ sápanto amŕ̥tam évaiḥ

All truly participated in the divine nature, serving the cosmic order and attaining immortality.

Stanza 1.68.5

ऋ॒तस्य॒ प्रेषा॑ ऋ॒तस्य॑ धी॒तिर्वि॒श्वायु॒र्विश्वे॒ अपां॑सि चक्रुः ||

r̥tásya préṣā r̥tásya dhītír viśvā́yur víśve ápāṁsi cakruḥ

The impulses of the cosmic order and its deep thought have accomplished all tasks, energizing everything.

Stanza 1.68.6

यस्तुभ्यं॒ दाशा॒द्यो वा॑ ते॒ शिक्षा॒त्तस्मै॑ चिकि॒त्वान्र॒यिं द॑यस्व ||

yás túbhyaṁ dā́śād yó vā te śíkṣāt tásmai cikitvā́n rayíṁ dayasva

O knowing one, grant wealth to whoever offers to you or diligently serves you.

Stanza 1.68.7

होता॒ निष॑त्तो॒ मनो॒रप॑त्ये॒ स चि॒न्न्वा॑सां॒ पती॑ रयी॒णाम् ||

hótā níṣatto mánor ápatye sá cin nv āā̀sām pátī rayīṇā́m

Seated as the priest among the descendants of Manu, he is truly the master of all riches.

Stanza 1.68.8

इ॒च्छन्त॒ रेतो॑ मि॒थस्त॒नूषु॒ सं जा॑नत॒ स्वैर्दक्षै॒रमू॑राः ||

ichánta réto mithás tanū́ṣu sáṁ jānata svaír dákṣair ámūrāḥ

Longing for the vital essence within their bodies, they united through their own wisdom and strengths, becoming wise.

Stanza 1.68.9

पि॒तुर्न पु॒त्राः क्रतुं॑ जुषन्त॒ श्रोष॒न्ये अ॑स्य॒ शासं॑ तु॒रासः॑ ||

pitúr ná putrā́ḥ krátuṁ juṣanta śróṣan yé asya śā́saṁ turā́saḥ

Like sons obeying their father, the swift ones who heard his command gladly embraced his wisdom.

Stanza 1.68.10

वि राय॑ और्णो॒द्दुरः॑ पुरु॒क्षुः पि॒पेश॒ नाकं॒ स्तृभि॒र्दमू॑नाः ||

ví rā́ya aurṇod dúraḥ purukṣúḥ pipéśa nā́kaṁ stŕ̥bhir dámūnāḥ

He who is rich in wealth opened the doors of abundance; the house-friend adorned the sky with stars.
