úpa prā́gāc chásanaṁ vājy árvā devadrī́cā mánasā dī́dhyānaḥ ajáḥ puró nīyate nā́bhir asyā́nu paścā́t kaváyo yanti rebhā́ḥ
The powerful horse has come forward for the sacrifice. It is contemplating with a divine mind. A related goat is led before it; sages and singers follow behind.
The powerful horse has arrived at its destination for sacrifice or a significant event. It is thoughtfully contemplating, moving with divine intention. A goat, related to the horse, leads the way, followed by sages and singers who are inspired by the horse's journey.

The horse has come to its highest dwelling, to its Father and Mother. Today it will approach the gods, most welcome. Then it will offer desired blessings to the worshipper.
The horse has reached its supreme abode, its ultimate destination, joining its divine parents. It is now ready to approach the gods, being most welcome. After this, it will declare blessings and valuable gifts to the one who has made the offering.
