इन्द्रं॑ मि॒त्रं वरु॑णम॒ग्निमू॒तये॒ मारु॑तं॒ शर्धो॒ अदि॑तिं हवामहे | रथं॒ न दु॒र्गाद्व॑सवः सुदानवो॒ विश्व॑स्मान्नो॒ अंह॑सो॒ निष्पि॑पर्तन ||

Hey, we call upon Indra, Mitra, Varuna, Agni, the Maruts, and Aditi for help! Just like a chariot helps you out of a tough spot, great Vasus, please rescue us from all our difficulties!

Come, O Adityas, and all you gods, come for our total well-being! Be joyful for us in conquering enemies. Like a chariot out of a tough spot, you generous Vasus, carry us out of all our troubles!
This stanza continues the invocation, now specifically addressing the Adityas (a group of deities including Mitra and Varuna) and other gods. The speaker asks them to come for the sake of complete well-being and to bring joy, especially in times of conflict or battle ('vrtra-tūryeṣu' - in the conquering of enemies). We invite here Nara-shamsa, the powerful, who inspires strength, and Puṣan, the protector of people! With blessings, we seek their favor. Like a chariot out of a tough spot, you generous Vasus, carry us out of all our troubles!
This stanza calls upon Nara-shamsa, a deity associated with praise and strength, described as 'vājinaḥ' (powerful, energetic) and 'vājayan' (strengthening). When Kutsa, the sage, was stuck deep in a pit, he called for Indra, the slayer of Vritra and lord of might, to help him. Like a chariot out of a tough spot, you generous Vasus, carry us out of all our troubles!

May the divine Aditi protect us with the gods! May the god-protector save us without fail. May Mitra, Varuna, Aditi, the River, Earth, and Sky all grant us this!
This stanza shifts to a plea for protection and well-being from a broader group of deities. Aditi, the mother goddess, is asked to protect 'us' along with the gods. A divine protector ('devāḥ trātā') is invoked to save them without fail. The stanza concludes by asking Mitra, Varuna, Aditi, the river Sindhu, Earth, and Sky to affirm and support this prayer.
