pári suvānó hárir aṁśúḥ pavítre rátho ná sarji sanáye hiyānáḥ ā́pac chlókam indriyám pūyámānaḥ práti devā́m̐ ajuṣata práyobhiḥ

The golden, pressed juice, purified on the filter, is sent forth like a chariot to win. While being cleansed, it gains praise and strength, and it pleases the gods with its offerings.

áchā nr̥cákṣā asarat pavítre nā́ma dádhānaḥ kavír asya yónau sī́dan hóteva sádane camū́ṣū́pem agmann ŕ̥ṣayaḥ saptá víprāḥ

He who sees humans has arrived at the filter, the wise one, carrying his name, has settled in his dwelling. Like a priest in his place, seven wise singers came to him, settling among the vessels.

prá sumedhā́ gātuvíd viśvádevaḥ sómaḥ punānáḥ sáda eti nítyam bhúvad víśveṣu kā́vyeṣu rántā́nu jánān yatate páñca dhī́raḥ

Soma, with great wisdom and for all gods, flows through, reaching his constant dwelling. He rejoices in all his wisdom, and the sage strives for the five peoples.

Your mysterious place, O Soma, contains all the gods, the thirty-three. Ten, with their own power, and seven great rivers cleanse you on the fleece in the high place.

Stanza 9.92.5

tán nú satyám pávamānasyāstu yátra víśve kārávaḥ saṁnásanta jyótir yád áhne ákr̥ṇod ulokám prā́van mánuṁ dásyave kar abhī́kam

Let this be the truth of the purifying Soma: where all the singers gather, he who made the light for the day and created space, has helped Manu and driven away the enemy.

Stanza 9.92.6

pári sádmeva paśumā́nti hótā rā́jā ná satyáḥ sámitīr iyānáḥ sómaḥ punānáḥ kaláśām̐ ayāsīt sī́dan mr̥gó ná mahiṣó váneṣu

Like a priest seeking a home with cattle, or a true king going to assemblies, Soma, while purified, entered the cups. He settled like a wild bull in the forest.
