पव॑स्व देव॒माद॑नो॒ विच॑र्षणिर॒प्सा इन्द्रा॑य॒ वरु॑णाय वा॒यवे॑ | कृ॒धी नो॑ अ॒द्य वरि॑वः स्वस्ति॒मदु॑रुक्षि॒तौ गृ॑णीहि॒ दैव्यं॒ जन॑म् ||
pávasva devamā́dano vícarṣaṇir apsā́ índrāya váruṇāya vāyáve kr̥dhī́ no adyá várivaḥ svastimád urukṣitaú gr̥ṇīhi daívyaṁ jánam
Press the divine Soma, O purifier, you who perceive all things! Make us prosperous and protected today, for Indra, for Varuṇa, for Vāyu! Sing praises to the divine assembly.
The Soma presser is invoked to purify and flow, acting as a divine agent. He is asked to create space and well-being for the worshippers, dedicating this process to the great deities Indra, Varuṇa, and Vāyu. ā́ yás tasthaú bhúvanāny ámartyo víśvāni sómaḥ pári tā́ny arṣati kr̥ṇván saṁcŕ̥taṁ vicŕ̥tam abhíṣṭaya índuḥ siṣakty uṣásaṁ ná sū́ryaḥ
He has approached and stood in all the worlds, the immortal Soma flows through them. Creating order and movement for our help, this drop of Soma follows the dawn like the sun.
The immortal Soma, who has established himself in all realms of existence, flows through them. By creating order and facilitating movement, this essence, known as Indu, follows the dawn just as the sun does, bringing forth light and order.

He who is poured with milk flows within the plants, bringing treasure for the happiness of the gods. Flowing with the speed of lightning, this prepared Soma delights Indra and the divine people.
This Soma, when pressed with milk and herbs, flows within the plants, bringing joy and nourishment to the gods. It flows like lightning, a potent juice that invigorates Indra and awakens the divine assembly.

This Soma, winner of thousands, flows, strengthening and inspiring our speech, awakening with the dawn. This drop of Soma moves through the ocean of the sky with the winds, and settles in the jars, in the heart of Indra.
This Soma, a thousand-conquering essence, flows, making a strong and awakening voice. It moves like the ocean driven by winds, settling into the ritual vessels and finding its place in the heart of Indra.

The cows feed him, the Soma who grows with milk, and wisdom enriches him, the finder of heavenly light. The juice flows, a wealth-winner, skillful and wise, praised with poetic skill.
The cows' milk nourishes Soma, who is also enriched by hymns and chants. This Soma, a wealth-winner, flows as a potent essence, skillfully composed by the wise poet, bringing heavenly light and bounty.
