Stanza 9.50.1
उत्ते॒ शुष्मा॑स ईरते॒ सिन्धो॑रू॒र्मेरि॑व स्व॒नः | वा॒णस्य॑ चोदया प॒विम् ||
út te śúṣmāsa īrate síndhor ūrmér iva svanáḥ vāṇásya codayā pavím
Your powers rise up, like the roaring wave of the river Sindhu. Urge on the sharp point of your (spiritual) arrow.
This verse describes the powerful and resonant awakening of the divine energies, likened to the surging waves of a river. It is an invocation for these forces to propel and sharpen the spiritual 'arrow' or aspiration.

At your pressing out, three joyful voices rise up. You flow upon the mountain ridge.
This stanza speaks of the three distinct utterances or expressions of divine speech that arise at the time of the Soma pressing and flowing. It describes these vocalizations as joyful and emerging as the divine essence flows over the mountain peaks.

ávyo vā́re pári priyáṁ háriṁ hinvanty ádribhiḥ pávamānam madhuścútam
We push the beloved, tawny (Soma) through the strainer with the pressing stones; he flows, dropping sweetness.
The worshippers are urged to guide the beloved, tawny (Soma) through the straining cloth (pavitra). They do this with pressing stones, helping the Soma flow, which is described as dropping sweetness and vital essence.

Flow, O most exhilarating Sage, with your stream into the sieve, to the place of the song.
This verse is a direct address to the Soma, the 'Sage' who is most capable of cheering. The Soma is asked to flow through the strainer into the appropriate vessel, the 'seat of the song', for its purpose.
