Stanza 9.50.1

उत्ते॒ शुष्मा॑स ईरते॒ सिन्धो॑रू॒र्मेरि॑व स्व॒नः | वा॒णस्य॑ चोदया प॒विम् ||

út te śúṣmāsa īrate síndhor ūrmér iva svanáḥ vāṇásya codayā pavím

Your powers rise up, like the roaring wave of the river Sindhu. Urge on the sharp point of your (spiritual) arrow.

Stanza 9.50.2

प्र॒स॒वे त॒ उदी॑रते ति॒स्रो वाचो॑ मख॒स्युवः॑ | यदव्य॒ एषि॒ सान॑वि ||

prasavé ta úd īrate tisró vā́co makhasyúvaḥ yád ávya éṣi sā́navi

At your pressing out, three joyful voices rise up. You flow upon the mountain ridge.

Stanza 9.50.3

अव्यो॒ वारे॒ परि॑ प्रि॒यं हरिं॑ हिन्व॒न्त्यद्रि॑भिः | पव॑मानं मधु॒श्चुत॑म् ||

ávyo vā́re pári priyáṁ háriṁ hinvanty ádribhiḥ pávamānam madhuścútam

We push the beloved, tawny (Soma) through the strainer with the pressing stones; he flows, dropping sweetness.

Stanza 9.50.4

आ प॑वस्व मदिन्तम प॒वित्रं॒ धार॑या कवे | अ॒र्कस्य॒ योनि॑मा॒सद॑म् ||

ā́ pavasva madintama pavítraṁ dhā́rayā kave arkásya yónim āsádam

Flow, O most exhilarating Sage, with your stream into the sieve, to the place of the song.

Stanza 9.50.5

स प॑वस्व मदिन्तम॒ गोभि॑रञ्जा॒नो अ॒क्तुभिः॑ | इन्द॒विन्द्रा॑य पी॒तये॑ ||

sá pavasva madintama góbhir añjānó aktúbhiḥ índav índrāya pītáye

Flow, most exhilarating One, anointed with milk and balms, O Indu, for Indra's drinking.
