सना॑ च सोम॒ जेषि॑ च॒ पव॑मान॒ महि॒ श्रवः॑ | अथा॑ नो॒ वस्य॑सस्कृधि ||

O Soma, as you flow and are purified, may you achieve great glory and renown. Then, make us better than we are.
The devotee addresses Soma, the divine juice, as it is being purified and pressed. They pray that Soma, in its flowing and purifying process, may attain great glory and renown. In return for this glory, the devotee asks Soma to bestow upon them a better state of being, implying a request for spiritual or material prosperity and well-being.

O Soma, achieve the light and the heavenly light, and all good fortune. Then, make us better than we are.
The devotee implores Soma to bestow not only material or spiritual light ('jyotiḥ') but also heavenly radiance ('svár'). They ask for all kinds of good fortune and prosperity ('saubhaga'). This is a plea for comprehensive well-being, encompassing inner illumination, divine favor, and abundant blessings, in exchange for which they ask to be elevated.
