Stanza 9.43.1

यो अत्य॑ इव मृ॒ज्यते॒ गोभि॒र्मदा॑य हर्य॒तः | तं गी॒र्भिर्वा॑सयामसि ||

yó átya iva mr̥jyáte góbhir mádāya haryatáḥ táṁ gīrbhír vāsayāmasi

We adorn with songs that shining one who is cleansed with milk for his exhilarating joy, like a horse.

Stanza 9.43.2

तं नो॒ विश्वा॑ अव॒स्युवो॒ गिरः॑ शुम्भन्ति पू॒र्वथा॑ | इन्दु॒मिन्द्रा॑य पी॒तये॑ ||

táṁ no víśvā avasyúvo gíraḥ śumbhanti pūrváthā índum índrāya pītáye

All our hymns, desiring grace, adorn him in the ancient way, that Soma for Indra's drinking.

Stanza 9.43.3

पु॒ना॒नो या॑ति हर्य॒तः सोमो॑ गी॒र्भिः परि॑ष्कृतः | विप्र॑स्य॒ मेध्या॑तिथेः ||

punānó yāti haryatáḥ sómo gīrbhíḥ páriṣkr̥taḥ víprasya médhyātitheḥ

Purifying himself, that desirable Soma flows on, adorned by hymns, of the sage Medhyatithi.

Stanza 9.43.4

पव॑मान वि॒दा र॒यिम॒स्मभ्यं॑ सोम सु॒श्रिय॑म् | इन्दो॑ स॒हस्र॑वर्चसम् ||

pávamāna vidā́ rayím asmábhyaṁ soma suśríyam índo sahásravarcasam

O Soma Pavamana, find for us wealth that is resplendent and possessed of a thousand splendors.

Stanza 9.43.5

इन्दु॒रत्यो॒ न वा॑ज॒सृत्कनि॑क्रन्ति प॒वित्र॒ आ | यदक्षा॒रति॑ देव॒युः ||

índur átyo ná vājasŕ̥t kánikranti pavítra ā́ yád ákṣār áti devayúḥ

Like a horse winning spoils, Indu roars as he flows through the sieve, seeking the gods.

Stanza 9.43.6

पव॑स्व॒ वाज॑सातये॒ विप्र॑स्य गृण॒तो वृ॒धे | सोम॒ रास्व॑ सु॒वीर्य॑म् ||

pávasva vā́jasātaye víprasya gr̥ṇató vr̥dhé sóma rā́sva suvī́ryam

Flow for gaining strength, for the growth of the praising sage; O Soma, grant heroic might.
