Stanza 9.3.1

ए॒ष दे॒वो अम॑र्त्यः पर्ण॒वीरि॑व दीयति | अ॒भि द्रोणा॑न्या॒सद॑म् ||

eṣá devó ámartyaḥ parṇavī́r iva dīyati abhí dróṇāny āsádam

This divine, immortal god flies like a bird with wings, moving towards and settling in the wooden vats.

Stanza 9.3.2

ए॒ष दे॒वो वि॒पा कृ॒तोऽति॒ ह्वरां॑सि धावति | पव॑मानो॒ अदा॑भ्यः ||

eṣá devó vipā́ kr̥tó 'ti hvárāṁsi dhāvati pávamāno ádābhyaḥ

This god, made ready by hymns, runs swiftly through the winding paths, inviolable as he flows.

Stanza 9.3.3

ए॒ष दे॒वो वि॑प॒न्युभिः॒ पव॑मान ऋता॒युभिः॑ | हरि॒र्वाजा॑य मृज्यते ||

eṣá devó vipanyúbhiḥ pávamāna r̥tāyúbhiḥ hárir vā́jāya mr̥jyate

This god, while flowing, is adorned by the skilled and devout ones, like a bay horse, prepared for glory.

Stanza 9.3.4

ए॒ष विश्वा॑नि॒ वार्या॒ शूरो॒ यन्नि॑व॒ सत्व॑भिः | पव॑मानः सिषासति ||

eṣá víśvāni vā́ryā śū́ro yánn iva sátvabhiḥ pávamānaḥ siṣāsati

This hero, like a warrior going forth with his men, flows along, earnestly seeking all desirable treasures.

Stanza 9.3.5

ए॒ष दे॒वो र॑थर्यति॒ पव॑मानो दशस्यति | आ॒विष्कृ॑णोति वग्व॒नुम् ||

eṣá devó ratharyati pávamāno daśasyati āvíṣ kr̥ṇoti vagvanúm

This god, like a chariot, moves rapidly and bestows gifts; flowing, he makes his voice clearly heard.

Stanza 9.3.6

ए॒ष विप्रै॑र॒भिष्टु॑तो॒ऽपो दे॒वो वि गा॑हते | दध॒द्रत्ना॑नि दा॒शुषे॑ ||

eṣá víprair abhíṣṭuto 'pó devó ví gāhate dádhad rátnāni dāśúṣe

Praised by the sages, this god dives into the waters, bestowing riches upon the devotee.

Stanza 9.3.7

ए॒ष दिवं॒ वि धा॑वति ति॒रो रजां॑सि॒ धार॑या | पव॑मानः॒ कनि॑क्रदत् ||

eṣá dívaṁ ví dhāvati tiró rájāṁsi dhā́rayā pávamānaḥ kánikradat

This god rushes upwards with his stream through the regions of the sky, flowing and roaring loudly.

Stanza 9.3.8

ए॒ष दिवं॒ व्यास॑रत्ति॒रो रजां॒स्यस्पृ॑तः | पव॑मानः स्वध्व॒रः ||

eṣá dívaṁ vy ā́sarat tiró rájāṁsy áspr̥taḥ pávamānaḥ svadhvaráḥ

This god, flowing irresistibly, has ascended into the sky through the regions; a well-ordered offering, he is untouchable.

Stanza 9.3.9

ए॒ष प्र॒त्नेन॒ जन्म॑ना दे॒वो दे॒वेभ्यः॑ सु॒तः | हरिः॑ प॒वित्रे॑ अर्षति ||

eṣá pratnéna jánmanā devó devébhyaḥ sutáḥ háriḥ pavítre arṣati

This god, born with ancient nature, pressed for the gods, flows brightly through the purifying filter.

Stanza 9.3.10

ए॒ष उ॒ स्य पु॑रुव्र॒तो ज॑ज्ञा॒नो ज॒नय॒न्निषः॑ | धार॑या पवते सु॒तः ||

eṣá u syá puruvrató jajñānó janáyann íṣaḥ dhā́rayā pavate sutáḥ

This one, lord of many vows, born and generating strength and desires, flows with a stream, the pressed Soma.
