स सु॒तः पी॒तये॒ वृषा॒ सोमः॑ प॒वित्रे॑ अर्षति | वि॒घ्नन्रक्षां॑सि देव॒युः ||
sá sutáḥ pītáye vŕ̥ṣā sómaḥ pavítre arṣati vighnán rákṣāṁsi devayúḥ
The pressed Soma juice, powerful and fit for drinking, flows through the filter, destroying demons and showing devotion to the gods.
This verse describes the Soma plant's juice, pressed and purified, flowing like a powerful bull towards the filter. Its purpose is to be drunk for nourishment and strength, and in this process, it destroys evil forces (Rakshasas) and shows its devotion to the gods.

sá tritásyā́dhi sā́navi pávamāno arocayat jāmíbhiḥ sū́ryaṁ sahá
