    Stanza 9.37.1

    स सु॒तः पी॒तये॒ वृषा॒ सोमः॑ प॒वित्रे॑ अर्षति | वि॒घ्नन्रक्षां॑सि देव॒युः ||

    sá sutáḥ pītáye vŕ̥ṣā sómaḥ pavítre arṣati vighnán rákṣāṁsi devayúḥ

    The pressed Soma juice, powerful and fit for drinking, flows through the filter, destroying demons and showing devotion to the gods.

    Stanza 9.37.2

    स प॒वित्रे॑ विचक्ष॒णो हरि॑रर्षति धर्ण॒सिः | अ॒भि योनिं॒ कनि॑क्रदत् ||

    sá pavítre vicakṣaṇó hárir arṣati dharṇasíḥ abhí yóniṁ kánikradat

    This intelligent and discerning Soma juice, with its golden hue, flows onward to its destination, loudly proclaiming its arrival.

    Stanza 9.37.3

    स वा॒जी रो॑च॒ना दि॒वः पव॑मानो॒ वि धा॑वति | र॒क्षो॒हा वार॑म॒व्यय॑म् ||

    sá vājī́ rocanā́ diváḥ pávamāno ví dhāvati rakṣohā́ vā́ram avyáyam

    This vigorous Soma, purified by the woolly filter, flows swiftly towards the shining heavens, destroying evil and pervading all.

    Stanza 9.37.4

    स त्रि॒तस्याधि॒ सान॑वि॒ पव॑मानो अरोचयत् | जा॒मिभिः॒ सूर्यं॑ स॒ह ||

    sá tritásyā́dhi sā́navi pávamāno arocayat jāmíbhiḥ sū́ryaṁ sahá

    This purifying Soma, from its high position associated with Trita, caused the sun to shine brightly along with the dawn.

    Stanza 9.37.5

    स वृ॑त्र॒हा वृषा॑ सु॒तो व॑रिवो॒विददा॑भ्यः | सोमो॒ वाज॑मिवासरत् ||

    sá vr̥trahā́ vŕ̥ṣā sutó varivovíd ádābhyaḥ sómo vā́jam ivāsarat

    This Soma, slayer of Vritra, powerful and pressed out, giver of abundance, moves forward like one seeking victory and spoil.

    Stanza 9.37.6

    स दे॒वः क॒विने॑षि॒तो॒३॒॑ऽभि द्रोणा॑नि धावति | इन्दु॒रिन्द्रा॑य मं॒हना॑ ||

    sá deváḥ kavíneṣitò 'bhí dróṇāni dhāvati índur índrāya maṁhánā

    Urged by the wise, this divine Soma flows with great power towards the wooden vats, specifically towards Indra.
