Stanza 9.23.1
सोमा॑ असृग्रमा॒शवो॒ मधो॒र्मद॑स्य॒ धार॑या | अ॒भि विश्वा॑नि॒ काव्या॑ ||

Swift Soma juices have flowed out in streams of sweet intoxication, permeating all sacred knowledge and creations.
This verse describes the Soma plant's juice being pressed and flowing like swift streams of a sweet, intoxicating liquid. This flowing juice is potent and destined to influence or fill all forms of sacred knowledge and poetic creation.

ánu pratnā́sa āyávaḥ padáṁ návīyo akramuḥ rucé jananta sū́ryam
Following the ancient ones, who are like living beings, we have arrived at a new place; they have created the sun to shine.
This verse speaks of ancient beings, perhaps the gods or divine powers, arriving at a new, fresh dwelling place. In doing so, they established or brought forth the sun, enabling it to shine and illuminate.

Stanza 9.23.3
आ प॑वमान नो भरा॒र्यो अदा॑शुषो॒ गय॑म् | कृ॒धि प्र॒जाव॑ती॒रिषः॑ ||
ā́ pavamāna no bharāryó ádāśuṣo gáyam kr̥dhí prajā́vatīr íṣaḥ
O Purifying Soma, bring to us the wealth of the non-sacrificing people, and grant us food that comes with progeny.
The verse addresses Soma as 'Pavamana' (the purifier), asking it to bring prosperity and wealth. Specifically, it requests the riches belonging to those who do not offer sacrifices, and to bestow offspring and sustenance.

O Soma, you are purified for Indra and the gods, a companion at their feasts, and you wish to win great sustenance.
Addressed to Soma, this verse states that it is being purified for the god Indra and for the other gods. It is a companion at their feasts and Soma desires to win great energy and sustenance for them.

asyá pītvā́ mádānām índro vr̥trā́ṇy apratí jaghā́na jaghánac ca nú
Having drunk these intoxicating draughts of Soma, Indra has indeed killed the formidable enemies, and continues to kill them.
This verse celebrates Indra's power after he has consumed Soma. It states that Indra, empowered by these intoxicating draughts, has defeated and continues to defeat formidable enemies, symbolized by 'Vritra'.
