    Stanza 9.18.1

    परि॑ सुवा॒नो गि॑रि॒ष्ठाः प॒वित्रे॒ सोमो॑ अक्षाः | मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि ||

    pári suvānó giriṣṭhā́ḥ pavítre sómo akṣāḥ mádeṣu sarvadhā́ asi

    O Soma, flowing down from the mountains, you pass through the filter. You are the essence of joy in all our celebrations.

    Stanza 9.18.2

    त्वं विप्र॒स्त्वं क॒विर्मधु॒ प्र जा॒तमन्ध॑सः | मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि ||

    tváṁ vípras tváṁ kavír mádhu prá jātám ándhasaḥ mádeṣu sarvadhā́ asi

    You are the wise seer, you are the poet. The sweet essence is born from your nature, and you are the source of all joy in celebrations.

    Stanza 9.18.3

    तव॒ विश्वे॑ स॒जोष॑सो दे॒वासः॑ पी॒तिमा॑शत | मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि ||

    táva víśve sajóṣaso devā́saḥ pītím āśata mádeṣu sarvadhā́ asi

    All the gods, united in spirit, have come to drink you. You are the object of their desire, bringing joy in every celebration.

    Stanza 9.18.4

    आ यो विश्वा॑नि॒ वार्या॒ वसू॑नि॒ हस्त॑योर्द॒धे | मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि ||

    ā́ yó víśvāni vā́ryā vásūni hástayor dadhé mádeṣu sarvadhā́ asi

    The one who holds all desirable treasures in his hands. He is the source of all prosperity, present in every joy.

    Stanza 9.18.5

    य इ॒मे रोद॑सी म॒ही सं मा॒तरे॑व॒ दोह॑ते | मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि ||

    yá imé ródasī mahī́ sám mātáreva dóhate mádeṣu sarvadhā́ asi

    He who, like a mother cow, draws forth the essence from these two great realms, the sky and the earth. He is the giver of life in all celebrations.

    Stanza 9.18.6

    परि॒ यो रोद॑सी उ॒भे स॒द्यो वाजे॑भि॒रर्ष॑ति | मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि ||

    pári yó ródasī ubhé sadyó vā́jebhir árṣati mádeṣu sarvadhā́ asi

    The one who, with mighty power, flows around both the sky and the earth in an instant. He is the life force in all celebrations.

    Stanza 9.18.7

    स शु॒ष्मी क॒लशे॒ष्वा पु॑ना॒नो अ॑चिक्रदत् | मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि ||

    sá śuṣmī́ kaláśeṣv ā́ punānó acikradat mádeṣu sarvadhā́ asi

    The strong one, while being purified in the vessels, cries out loudly. He is the source of power in all celebrations.
