Stanza 9.17.1
प्र नि॒म्नेने॑व॒ सिन्ध॑वो॒ घ्नन्तो॑ वृ॒त्राणि॒ भूर्ण॑यः | सोमा॑ असृग्रमा॒शवः॑ ||
prá nimnéneva síndhavo ghnánto vr̥trā́ṇi bhū́rṇayaḥ sómā asr̥gram āśávaḥ
Like rivers rushing down a steep incline, the swift Soma streams, full of vigor, have flowed, destroying obstacles.
This verse describes the Soma juice flowing powerfully, like rivers descending a steep slope. The Soma, full of energy, is depicted as actively destroying obstacles, referred to as 'Vrtras'. The rapid flow of Soma signifies its potent and dynamic nature.

The Soma drops, having been pressed out, flow towards Indra, like rain falling upon the earth.

O Soma, you rise beyond the three lights, shining upwards towards the sky, and you urge on the sun like a mover.
