Stanza 9.13.1
सोमः॑ पुना॒नो अ॑र्षति स॒हस्र॑धारो॒ अत्य॑विः | वा॒योरिन्द्र॑स्य निष्कृ॒तम् ||
sómaḥ punānó arṣati sahásradhāro átyaviḥ vāyór índrasya niṣkr̥tám
The purifying Soma flows with a thousand streams, the essence that is prepared for Indra and Vayu.
This verse describes the Soma plant's juice as it is being purified, flowing with countless streams. This purified Soma is destined for Indra and Vayu, the deities who are central to Vedic rituals.

Stanza 9.13.2
पव॑मानमवस्यवो॒ विप्र॑म॒भि प्र गा॑यत | सु॒ष्वा॒णं दे॒ववी॑तये ||
pávamānam avasyavo vípram abhí prá gāyata suṣvāṇáṁ devávītaye
O people, desiring support, sing praises to the purifying Soma, the wise one, prepared for the divine offering.
This verse is an invocation to the people, urging them to sing praises for the purifying Soma, referred to as 'Pavamana' and 'Vipra' (the wise one). They are called to sing this to the Soma that has been pressed and prepared for the divine feast of the gods.

The Soma drops, with immense power, are purified for victory, praised for the gods' feast.

The devotee implores Soma to flow for their benefit, bringing abundance and strength. The Soma is addressed directly, called 'Indu' (a drop of Soma), and is asked to provide great nourishment and heroic prowess.

The devotees pray that these divine Soma drops, which have been pressed and are like gods in their essence, may flow for them, bestowing immense wealth and heroic strength.

Like swift horses urged on, they flow through the straining cloth for victory.

The Soma, delightful to Indra and possessing intoxicating properties, is asked to roar and drive away all enemies. It is called 'Pavamana' (the purifier) and is invoked to destroy evil forces.

O Purifying Soma, driving away the godless, shining brightly, settle in the place of cosmic order.
The purifying Soma drops, which appear like the sun and repel the godless, are invoked to settle within the 'yoni' (place/womb) of 'rita' (cosmic order or sacrifice), signifying their rightful place in the ritual.
