Stanza 9.109.1

परि॒ प्र ध॒न्वेन्द्रा॑य सोम स्वा॒दुर्मि॒त्राय॑ पू॒ष्णे भगा॑य ||

pári prá dhanvéndrāya soma svādúr mitrā́ya pūṣṇé bhágāya

O Soma, flow forth pleasantly, with your delightful stream, for Indra, for Mitra, for Pushan, and for Bhaga.

Stanza 9.109.2

इन्द्र॑स्ते सोम सु॒तस्य॑ पेयाः॒ क्रत्वे॒ दक्षा॑य॒ विश्वे॑ च दे॒वाः ||

índras te soma sutásya peyāḥ krátve dákṣāya víśve ca devā́ḥ

O Soma, may Indra drink your pressed juice for wisdom, and may all the gods drink it for strength.

Stanza 9.109.3

ए॒वामृता॑य म॒हे क्षया॑य॒ स शु॒क्रो अ॑र्ष दि॒व्यः पी॒यूषः॑ ||

evā́mŕ̥tāya mahé kṣáyāya sá śukró arṣa divyáḥ pīyū́ṣaḥ

Thus, O bright and divine juice, flow for immortal dwelling and great permanence.

Stanza 9.109.4

पव॑स्व सोम म॒हान्त्स॑मु॒द्रः पि॒ता दे॒वानां॒ विश्वा॒भि धाम॑ ||

pávasva soma mahā́n samudráḥ pitā́ devā́nāṁ víśvābhí dhā́ma

Flow on, O Soma, as a great sea, as the father of the gods, towards all your places.

Stanza 9.109.5

शु॒क्रः प॑वस्व दे॒वेभ्यः॑ सोम दि॒वे पृ॑थि॒व्यै शं च॑ प्र॒जायै॑ ||

śukráḥ pavasva devébhyaḥ soma divé pr̥thivyaí śáṁ ca prajā́yai

O Soma, flow brightly for the gods, for heaven and earth, and for welfare to progeny.

Stanza 9.109.6

दि॒वो ध॒र्तासि॑ शु॒क्रः पी॒यूषः॑ स॒त्ये विध॑र्मन्वा॒जी प॑वस्व ||

divó dhartā́si śukráḥ pīyū́ṣaḥ satyé vídharman vājī́ pavasva

You are the bright juice, sustainer of the sky; flow with power, according to true law.

Stanza 9.109.7

पव॑स्व सोम द्यु॒म्नी सु॑धा॒रो म॒हामवी॑ना॒मनु॑ पू॒र्व्यः ||

pávasva soma dyumnī́ sudhāró mahā́m ávīnām ánu pūrvyáḥ

O Soma, flow splendidly with a copious stream, through the great fleece, as in ancient times.

Stanza 9.109.8

नृभि॑र्येमा॒नो ज॑ज्ञा॒नः पू॒तः क्षर॒द्विश्वा॑नि म॒न्द्रः स्व॒र्वित् ||

nŕ̥bhir yemānó jajñānáḥ pūtáḥ kṣárad víśvāni mandráḥ svarvít

Guided by men, born, and purified, let the joyous, light-finding Soma make all things flow.

Stanza 9.109.9

इन्दुः॑ पुना॒नः प्र॒जामु॑रा॒णः कर॒द्विश्वा॑नि॒ द्रवि॑णानि नः ||

índuḥ punānáḥ prajā́m urāṇáḥ kárad víśvāni dráviṇāni naḥ

O Indu, while purifying and protecting the people, grant us all wealth.

Stanza 9.109.10

पव॑स्व सोम॒ क्रत्वे॒ दक्षा॒याश्वो॒ न नि॒क्तो वा॒जी धना॑य ||

pávasva soma krátve dákṣāyā́śvo ná niktó vājī́ dhánāya

O Soma, flow for wisdom and strength, like a cleansed and powerful horse for riches.

Stanza 9.109.11

तं ते॑ सो॒तारो॒ रसं॒ मदा॑य पु॒नन्ति॒ सोमं॑ म॒हे द्यु॒म्नाय॑ ||

táṁ te sotā́ro rásam mádāya punánti sómam mahé dyumnā́ya

The pressers purify this juice of yours, O Soma, for delight and great glory.

Stanza 9.109.12

शिशुं॑ जज्ञा॒नं हरिं॑ मृजन्ति प॒वित्रे॒ सोमं॑ दे॒वेभ्य॒ इन्दु॑म् ||

śíśuṁ jajñānáṁ hárim mr̥janti pavítre sómaṁ devébhya índum

They cleanse the golden infant, newly born, the Soma, Indu, in the sieve for the gods.

Stanza 9.109.13

इन्दुः॑ पविष्ट॒ चारु॒र्मदा॑या॒पामु॒पस्थे॑ क॒विर्भगा॑य ||

índuḥ paviṣṭa cā́rur mádāyāpā́m upásthe kavír bhágāya

Fair Indu flowed for delight, a sage in the waters' lap, for good fortune.

Stanza 9.109.14

बिभ॑र्ति॒ चार्विन्द्र॑स्य॒ नाम॒ येन॒ विश्वा॑नि वृ॒त्रा ज॒घान॑ ||

bíbharti cā́rv índrasya nā́ma yéna víśvāni vr̥trā́ jaghā́na

He bears the beautiful name, by which, with the Soma's power, he killed all enemies.

Stanza 9.109.15

पिब॑न्त्यस्य॒ विश्वे॑ दे॒वासो॒ गोभिः॑ श्री॒तस्य॒ नृभिः॑ सु॒तस्य॑ ||

píbanty asya víśve devā́so góbhiḥ śrītásya nŕ̥bhiḥ sutásya

All the gods drink him, the pressed Soma, with milk, by men.

Stanza 9.109.16

प्र सु॑वा॒नो अ॑क्षाः स॒हस्र॑धारस्ति॒रः प॒वित्रं॒ वि वार॒मव्य॑म् ||

prá suvānó akṣāḥ sahásradhāras tiráḥ pavítraṁ ví vā́ram ávyam

Having flowed forth, it flowed with a thousand streams through the filter and the wool.

Stanza 9.109.17

स वा॒ज्य॑क्षाः स॒हस्र॑रेता अ॒द्भिर्मृ॑जा॒नो गोभिः॑ श्रीणा॒नः ||

sá vājy àkṣāḥ sahásraretā adbhír mr̥jānó góbhiḥ śrīṇānáḥ

That powerful one, with endless flow, purified by waters and blended with milk, flowed.

Stanza 9.109.18

प्र सो॑म या॒हीन्द्र॑स्य कु॒क्षा नृभि॑र्येमा॒नो अद्रि॑भिः सु॒तः ||

prá soma yāhī́ndrasya kukṣā́ nŕ̥bhir yemānó ádribhiḥ sutáḥ

O Soma, pressed by stones and guided by men, flow into Indra's stomach.

Stanza 9.109.19

अस॑र्जि वा॒जी ति॒रः प॒वित्र॒मिन्द्रा॑य॒ सोमः॑ स॒हस्र॑धारः ||

ásarji vājī́ tiráḥ pavítram índrāya sómaḥ sahásradhāraḥ

The mighty Soma, with a thousand streams, flowed through the filter for Indra.

Stanza 9.109.20

अ॒ञ्जन्त्ये॑नं॒ मध्वो॒ रसे॒नेन्द्रा॑य॒ वृष्ण॒ इन्दुं॒ मदा॑य ||

añjánty enam mádhvo rásenéndrāya vŕ̥ṣṇa índum mádāya

They anoint this Indu with the pleasant juice for Indra, the powerful bull, for delight.

Stanza 9.109.21

दे॒वेभ्य॑स्त्वा॒ वृथा॒ पाज॑से॒ऽपो वसा॑नं॒ हरिं॑ मृजन्ति ||

devébhyas tvā vŕ̥thā pā́jase 'pó vásānaṁ hárim mr̥janti

They cleanse you, golden one, lightly for the gods, wearing water as your robe.

Stanza 9.109.22

इन्दु॒रिन्द्रा॑य तोशते॒ नि तो॑शते श्री॒णन्नु॒ग्रो रि॒णन्न॒पः ||

índur índrāya tośate ní tośate śrīṇánn ugró riṇánn apáḥ

Indu flows for Indra, streaming down, strong and rich, mingling with the waters.
