    Stanza 8.86.1

    उ॒भा हि द॒स्रा भि॒षजा॑ मयो॒भुवो॒भा दक्ष॑स्य॒ वच॑सो बभू॒वथुः॑ | ता वां॒ विश्व॑को हवते तनूकृ॒थे मा नो॒ वि यौ॑ष्टं स॒ख्या मु॒मोच॑तम् ||

    ubhā́ hí dasrā́ bhiṣájā mayobhúvobhā́ dákṣasya vácaso babhūváthuḥ tā́ vāṁ víśvako havate tanūkr̥thé mā́ no ví yauṣṭaṁ sakhyā́ mumócatam

    Both of you are indeed wondrous healers, bestowers of well-being, and have become capable of Daksha's word. Vishvaka calls upon you both as such. Do not separate yourselves from our friendship, release us.

    Stanza 8.86.2

    क॒था नू॒नं वां॒ विम॑ना॒ उप॑ स्तवद्यु॒वं धियं॑ ददथु॒र्वस्य॑इष्टये | ता वां॒ विश्व॑को हवते तनूकृ॒थे मा नो॒ वि यौ॑ष्टं स॒ख्या मु॒मोच॑तम् ||

    kathā́ nūnáṁ vāṁ vímanā úpa stavad yuváṁ dhíyaṁ dadathur vásya .iṣṭaye tā́ vāṁ víśvako havate tanūkr̥thé mā́ no ví yauṣṭaṁ sakhyā́ mumócatam

    How can someone mentally distressed praise you now? You two grant wisdom for the attainment of good things. Vishvaka calls upon you both as such. Do not separate yourselves from our friendship, release us.

    Stanza 8.86.3

    यु॒वं हि ष्मा॑ पुरुभुजे॒ममे॑ध॒तुं वि॑ष्णा॒प्वे॑ द॒दथु॒र्वस्य॑इष्टये | ता वां॒ विश्व॑को हवते तनूकृ॒थे मा नो॒ वि यौ॑ष्टं स॒ख्या मु॒मोच॑तम् ||

    yuváṁ hí ṣmā purubhujemám edhatúṁ viṣṇāpvè dadáthur vásya .iṣṭaye tā́ vāṁ víśvako havate tanūkr̥thé mā́ no ví yauṣṭaṁ sakhyā́ mumócatam

    You two, possessors of great wealth, have indeed made this Vishnapa flourish. You two gave (this) for the desire of good. Vishvaka calls upon you both as such. Do not separate yourselves from our friendship, release us.

    Stanza 8.86.4

    उ॒त त्यं वी॒रं ध॑न॒सामृ॑जी॒षिणं॑ दू॒रे चि॒त्सन्त॒मव॑से हवामहे | यस्य॒ स्वादि॑ष्ठा सुम॒तिः पि॒तुर्य॑था॒ मा नो॒ वि यौ॑ष्टं स॒ख्या मु॒मोच॑तम् ||

    utá tyáṁ vīráṁ dhanasā́m r̥jīṣíṇaṁ dūré cit sántam ávase havāmahe yásya svā́diṣṭhā sumatíḥ pitúr yathā mā́ no ví yauṣṭaṁ sakhyā́ mumócatam

    We call for the protection of that hero, the winner of wealth, even though he is far away. His favor is most pleasant, like that of a father. Do not separate yourselves from our friendship, release us.

    Stanza 8.86.5

    ऋ॒तेन॑ दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता श॑मायत ऋ॒तस्य॒ शृङ्ग॑मुर्वि॒या वि प॑प्रथे | ऋ॒तं सा॑साह॒ महि॑ चित्पृतन्य॒तो मा नो॒ वि यौ॑ष्टं स॒ख्या मु॒मोच॑तम् ||

    r̥téna deváḥ savitā́ śamāyata r̥tásya śŕ̥ṅgam urviyā́ ví paprathe r̥táṁ sāsāha máhi cit pr̥tanyató mā́ no ví yauṣṭaṁ sakhyā́ mumócatam

    The divine Savitr works through cosmic order (rta). The horn of cosmic order has spread widely. Cosmic order has conquered even fierce warriors. Do not separate yourselves from our friendship, release us.
