उत्त्वा॑ मन्दन्तु॒ स्तोमाः॑ कृणु॒ष्व राधो॑ अद्रिवः | अव॑ ब्रह्म॒द्विषो॑ जहि ||
út tvā mandantu stómāḥ kr̥ṇuṣvá rā́dho adrivaḥ áva brahmadvíṣo jahi
May the hymns delight you, Indra! Bestow your bounty, wielder of the thunderbolt. Strike down those who hate devotion.
The devotee calls upon Indra, the thunderer, to accept their hymns of praise and bestow blessings. They ask Indra to destroy those who oppose devotion and prayer.

प॒दा प॒णीँर॑रा॒धसो॒ नि बा॑धस्व म॒हाँ अ॑सि | न॒हि त्वा॒ कश्च॒न प्रति॑ ||
padā́ paṇī́m̐r arādháso ní bādhasva mahā́m̐ asi nahí tvā káś caná práti
Crush the ungenerous, those who offer no gifts, with your foot. You are great, no one can equal you.
The poet urges Indra to use his power to suppress the wicked, stingy people who do not offer sacrifices or gifts. Indra is acknowledged as being immensely powerful, beyond anyone's equal.

tvám īśiṣe sutā́nām índra tvám ásutānām tváṁ rā́jā jánānām
You are the lord of those who press the Soma, and you are the lord of those who do not press it. You are the king of people.
Indra is addressed as the ruler and master over those who have pressed the Soma juice (indicating devotion and offerings) and those who have not. He is the supreme king of all people.

Come, proceed, you who dwell in the sky and hear the prayers of men! You fill both heaven and earth.
Indra is invited to come and proceed, dwelling in the sky and hearing the calls of mankind. He is praised for his ability to fill both the heavens and the earth.

Indra is praised for his power to overcome obstacles, symbolized by a mountain containing riches. He is said to have broken through this obstacle for the sake of his worshippers.
