Stanza 8.55.1
भूरीदिन्द्र॑स्य वी॒र्यं१॒॑ व्यख्य॑म॒भ्याय॑ति | राध॑स्ते दस्यवे वृक ||
bhū́rī́d índrasya vīryàṁ vy ákhyam abhy ā́yati rā́dhas te dasyave vr̥ka
Indra's might is truly great. I have seen it, and your bounty now comes to the enemy-destroying one.
This verse describes the immense power and might of the god Indra. The speaker has witnessed this power and is now receiving a gift or bounty from Indra, addressing him as 'Vṛka,' a term often associated with Indra's fierce and destructive aspect, implying the destruction of enemies.

A hundred white bulls shine like stars in the sky; with their great size, they seem to prop up the heavens.

O Kāṇvāyanas, you are blessed by the gods and traverse through life's various stages; you move forward like horses.

Then they extolled the not-yet-full team; its renown is great. The dark mares rushed along the paths, so that no eye could match their speed.
This verse describes the exhilarating speed of dark-colored mares. They are praised for their great renown and are depicted as rushing so fast along the paths that they outrun sight itself, making it impossible for any eye to follow their incredible pace. The phrase 'sāptasya' possibly refers to a team, perhaps of seven, that is not yet fully mature but is already renowned.
