यथा॒ मनौ॒ सांव॑रणौ॒ सोम॑मि॒न्द्रापि॑बः सु॒तम् | नीपा॑तिथौ मघव॒न्मेध्या॑तिथौ॒ पुष्टि॑गौ॒ श्रुष्टि॑गौ॒ सचा॑ ||

Just as you drank the pressed Soma juice with Manu Sâmvaraṇi, O Indra, and with Nīpātithi, Maghavan, with Medhyātithi, with Puṣṭigu and Śruṣṭigu, together.

Indra seated Praskaṇva, son of Pārṣadvāna, who was lying weak and neglected. With your help, O sage, he sought to gain thousands of cows.

He who does not win even with fine horses, this wise one, the inspirer of sages, O Indra, we speak to you about him, so that he may not be without nourishment.

He whom you, O gracious one, decide to help in giving, he attains wealth and abundance. We, O Maghavan, Indra, lover of song, with pressed Soma, call upon you.
This verse describes the reciprocity between Indra and his devotees. It states that the person whom Indra chooses to assist in giving finds abundance and prosperity. The worshippers, having prepared the Soma, invoke Indra, acknowledging his graciousness and desire to give.
