You have protected this prayer and those who press the Soma during battles against Vritra, O Indra, lord of strength, with all your aids. Drink the Soma juice of the midday pressing, O Vritra-slayer, O wielder of the thunderbolt.

Hear, O Indra, the singer Rebhata of Syavashva, just as you heard Atri when he performed his duties. You alone aided Trasadasyu in the heroic battles, O Indra, increasing his strength.
The sage implores Indra to listen to the devotee Syavashva, just as he had previously listened to the sage Atri while performing sacred rites. Indra is praised for having singularly aided Trasadasyu in his battles against heroes, thus strengthening his power.
