ā́gne yāhi marútsakhā rudrébhiḥ sómapītaye sóbharyā úpa suṣṭutím mādáyasva svàrṇare
O Agni, friend of the Maruts, come with Rudras for the Soma-drink. Rejoice in the heavenly light and in Sobhari's praise.
This verse is an invocation to Agni, asking him to come with his companions, the Maruts and Rudras, to partake in the Soma offering ('somapītaye'). He is invited to 'Sobhari's' well-crafted praise ('suśṭutim') and to rejoice ('mādāyasva') in the heavenly light ('svarṇare'). This highlights Agni's divine nature, his association with other gods, and his enjoyment of rituals and praise.
