अ॒यं त॑ एमि त॒न्वा॑ पु॒रस्ता॒द्विश्वे॑ दे॒वा अ॒भि मा॑ यन्ति प॒श्चात् | य॒दा मह्यं॒ दीध॑रो भा॒गमि॒न्द्रादिन्मया॑ कृणवो वी॒र्या॑णि ||
ayáṁ ta emi tanvāā̀ purástād víśve devā́ abhí mā yanti paścā́t yadā́ máhyaṁ dī́dharo bhāgám indrā́d ín máyā kr̥ṇavo vīryāā̀ṇi
I move before you here in person, and all the gods follow me from behind. If you grant me a share, O Indra, then you will indeed make me strong.

Come, bring forth a strong hymn for Indra, a truthful one if truth exists. Does Indra indeed exist? Who has seen him? Whom shall we praise?

Here I am, singer, look at me! I surpass all born beings in greatness. The directions increase me according to the cosmic order; I am pervaded by the universe.
