O priests, pour forth the radiant Soma, pressed from the stalk, for the bull of peoples. Indra, who desires the pressed Soma, seeks his drinking place, like a wild bull.
This verse is a ritualistic invocation to the Adhvaryu priests. They are instructed to offer the Soma, described as radiant and milked from the stalk, to Indra, who is the lord of all peoples. The verse likens Indra's eagerness to drink the Soma to a bull seeking its drinking place, emphasizing Indra's powerful desire for this offering.

This verse presents a conditional situation for collective action. It states that if Indra incites the proud and arrogant foes to battle, then 'we' (the supplicants) will subdue them with our strength. Alternatively, if Indra himself fights alongside heroes, 'we' desire to win the glorious victory with him.
