Stanza 7.90.1
प्र वी॑र॒या शुच॑यो दद्रिरे वामध्व॒र्युभि॒र्मधु॑मन्तः सु॒तासः॑ | वह॑ वायो नि॒युतो॑ या॒ह्यच्छा॒ पिबा॑ सु॒तस्यान्ध॑सो॒ मदा॑य ||
prá vīrayā́ śúcayo dadrire vām adhvaryúbhir mádhumantaḥ sutā́saḥ váha vāyo niyúto yāhy áchā píbā sutásyā́ndhaso mádāya
Pure and exhilarating Soma juices, prepared by the priests, have been offered. O Vayu, come with your harnessed steeds, arrive and drink the pressed Soma for its intoxicating pleasure.
This verse is an invocation to the wind god Vayu, often associated with the Soma sacrifice. The priests (adhvaryu) have prepared the pure, sweet Soma juice, and the stanza describes it being offered. Vayu is urged to approach and drink this offering, which is meant to bring joy and exhilaration.

īśānā́ya práhutiṁ yás ta ā́naṭ chúciṁ sómaṁ śucipās túbhyaṁ vāyo kr̥ṇóṣi tám mártyeṣu praśastáṁ jātó-jāto jāyate vājy àsya
To the all-powerful one, O Vayu, you receive the pure Soma offering. You make him celebrated among men; for him, strong sons are born repeatedly.
This verse praises Vayu and describes the benefits of offering Soma to him. The person who brings this pure Soma to the powerful Vayu is blessed. Vayu makes such a person renowned among mortals and grants them strong, numerous offspring.

For wealth, indeed, the two worlds brought forth him; for wealth, the divine Dhishana provides the god. Then, his harnessed steeds attend to Vayu, and also the radiant bearer of treasure.
This verse describes the divine being for whom the two worlds (heaven and earth) and the goddess Dhishana (intellect, wisdom) have brought forth riches. This divine being is Vayu, whose chariot horses are served by his harnessed steeds, and who is associated with a radiant treasure.

The pure dawns with good days have risen, revealing extensive light. The desirous ones have disclosed the cattle-stall; for them, waters flowed as before.
This verse describes the dawn and its radiant light. The spotless dawns, bringing good days, have broken and discovered a vast light. Eager beings (uśíjaḥ) have revealed the bounty of cattle (gavyam ūrvam), and for them, streams of water have flowed as in ancient times.

These, shining with true mind and by their own power, are yoked and move. O Indra-Vayu, victuals attend your chariot that carries heroes, and the divine pair.
This verse describes how certain beings, characterized by truthfulness and brilliance, are yoked by their own power and drive their chariot. It then addresses the divine pair, Indra and Vayu, whose chariot, carrying heroes, is attended by offerings (pṛkṣaḥ).

May those who possess heaven, O Indra-Vayu, with cows, horses, wealth, and gold, may the wise heroes, with horses and heroes, conquer in battles.
This verse invokes Indra and Vayu, the powerful rulers who bestow heavenly light. It prays that they, adorned with cows, horses, wealth, and gold, and who are praised by heroes, may help the devotees overcome enemies in battles.

Like steeds seeking glory, O Indra-Vayu, we, the Vasishthas, with praises, call you. We invoke you for sustenance. You, always protect us with blessings.
This final verse is a plea to Indra and Vayu. The speaker, identifying with the Vasishthas and comparing themselves to coursers seeking glory, invokes the gods with praise and asks for protection and well-being. They seek the gods' favor and help to achieve their goals.
