Varuna indeed placed Vasishtha, the sage, in the divine boat and, by his great powers, made him a singer. He made him a praiser of the vipra (Varuna) in the prosperous days of the year, as long as the skies are spread and the dawns appear.
This verse recounts how Varuna, through his immense power and grace, elevated the sage Vasishtha, placing him in a divine vessel and making him a seer. Varuna also appointed Vasishtha as a praiser, who would sing hymns of glory during prosperous days and the dawn. This highlights Varuna's role in bestowing spiritual status and inspiration.
