O Indra and Varuṇa, kings, may we turn you to this sacrifice with oblations and praises. Holding the ghee-filled ladle in our arms, it moves with its varied forms towards you.
The poet invokes the divine twins, Indra and Varuṇa, calling them "kings." He expresses his desire to turn them towards the sacrifice with offerings and praises. He visualizes holding the ladle filled with ghee (clarified butter) in his arms, and this offering, radiant and prepared, moves towards the gods, acknowledging their distinct and manifold forms.

Your great dominion, O divine pair, is sustained by the sky; it is bound by means other than ropes. May Varuṇa's anger be kept away from us, and may Indra make ample space for us.
The hymn addresses the divine powers, stating that the vast sky (Dyaus) sustains their great dominion, which is bound not by ordinary ropes but by powerful, divine means. The prayer then asks that the displeasure of Varuṇa be kept away from them, and that Indra create ample space and opportunity for them to live.

O Indra and Varuṇa, bestow upon us wealth that is rich, full of treasure, and sustaining many. The hero, the Aditya, who destroys untruth, distributes abundant riches.
The poet directly addresses Indra and Varuṇa, requesting them to bestow abundant and varied wealth upon the worshippers. This wealth should be rich and plentiful, supporting many. The stanza also mentions that the Adityas, as heroic beings, destroy falsehood and generously distribute riches.
