Stanza 7.69.1

आ वां॒ रथो॒ रोद॑सी बद्बधा॒नो हि॑र॒ण्ययो॒ वृष॑भिर्या॒त्वश्वैः॑ | घृ॒तव॑र्तनिः प॒विभी॑ रुचा॒न इ॒षां वो॒ळ्हा नृ॒पति॑र्वा॒जिनी॑वान् ||

ā́ vāṁ rátho ródasī badbadhānó hiraṇyáyo vŕ̥ṣabhir yātv áśvaiḥ ghr̥távartaniḥ pavíbhī rucāná iṣā́ṁ voḷhā́ nr̥pátir vājínīvān

May your golden chariot, O Ashvins, drawn by strong horses, come to us, bounding across the earth and sky. Shining with its wheels, and carrying nourishment, it is a protector of men, rich in horses.

Stanza 7.69.2

स प॑प्रथा॒नो अ॒भि पञ्च॒ भूमा॑ त्रिवन्धु॒रो मन॒सा या॑तु यु॒क्तः | विशो॒ येन॒ गच्छ॑थो देव॒यन्तीः॒ कुत्रा॑ चि॒द्याम॑मश्विना॒ दधा॑ना ||

sá paprathānó abhí páñca bhū́mā trivandhuró mánasā́ yātu yuktáḥ víśo yéna gáchatho devayántīḥ kútrā cid yā́mam aśvinā dádhānā

May it approach, yoked by thought, with its three supports, spreading wide over the five realms. By its means, O Ashvins, you reach the devoted people; where will you place your course, carrying it forth?

Stanza 7.69.3

स्वश्वा॑ य॒शसा या॑तम॒र्वाग्दस्रा॑ नि॒धिं मधु॑मन्तं पिबाथः | वि वां॒ रथो॑ व॒ध्वा॒३॒॑ याद॑मा॒नोऽन्ता॑न्दि॒वो बा॑धते वर्त॒निभ्या॑म् ||

sváśvā yaśásā́ yātam arvā́g dásrā nidhím mádhumantam pibāthaḥ ví vāṁ rátho vadhvāā̀ yā́damānó 'ntān divó bādhate vartaníbhyām

With good horses, O wondrous ones, come here, and drink the honey-filled mead. Your chariot, which is related to your spouse, blocks the ends of the sky with its wheels.

Stanza 7.69.4

यु॒वोः श्रियं॒ परि॒ योषा॑वृणीत॒ सूरो॑ दुहि॒ता परि॑तक्म्यायाम् | यद्दे॑व॒यन्त॒मव॑थः॒ शची॑भिः॒ परि॑ घ्रं॒समो॒मना॑ वां॒ वयो॑ गात् ||

yuvóḥ śríyam pári yóṣāvr̥ṇīta sū́ro duhitā́ páritakmyāyām yád devayántam ávathaḥ śácībhiḥ pári ghraṁsám ománā vāṁ váyo gāt

When it was time for the dawn, Surya's daughter chose your splendor. When you two aid the worshipper with your powers, may our life pass through that which is yours.

Stanza 7.69.5

यो ह॒ स्य वां॑ रथिरा॒ वस्त॑ उ॒स्रा रथो॑ युजा॒नः प॑रि॒याति॑ व॒र्तिः | तेन॑ नः॒ शं योरु॒षसो॒ व्यु॑ष्टौ॒ न्य॑श्विना वहतं य॒ज्ञे अ॒स्मिन् ||

yó ha syá vāṁ rathirā vásta usrā́ rátho yujānáḥ pariyā́ti vartíḥ téna naḥ śáṁ yór uṣáso vyùṣṭau ny àśvinā vahataṁ yajñé asmín

O chariot-borne ones, may your radiant chariot, harnessed and moving with the dawn, come to our dwelling. With it, O Ashvins, bring us peace and blessings at the breaking of the dawn in this sacrifice.

Stanza 7.69.6

नरा॑ गौ॒रेव॑ वि॒द्युतं॑ तृषा॒णास्माक॑म॒द्य सव॒नोप॑ यातम् | पु॒रु॒त्रा हि वां॑ म॒तिभि॒र्हव॑न्ते॒ मा वा॑म॒न्ये नि य॑मन्देव॒यन्तः॑ ||

nárā gauréva vidyútaṁ tr̥ṣāṇā́smā́kam adyá sávanópa yātam purutrā́ hí vām matíbhir hávante mā́ vām anyé ní yaman devayántaḥ

Heroes, like thirsty cattle seeking lightning, come to our soma-pressing today. For indeed, many invoke you with hymns in various places; may other worshippers not detain you.

Stanza 7.69.7

यु॒वं भु॒ज्युमव॑विद्धं समु॒द्र उदू॑हथु॒रर्ण॑सो॒ अस्रि॑धानैः | प॒त॒त्रिभि॑रश्र॒मैर॑व्य॒थिभि॑र्दं॒सना॑भिरश्विना पा॒रय॑न्ता ||

yuvám bhujyúm ávaviddhaṁ samudrá úd ūhathur árṇaso ásridhānaiḥ patatríbhir aśramaír avyathíbhir daṁsánābhir aśvinā pāráyantā

You two rescued Bhujyu, abandoned in the ocean; you lifted him from the waters with your swift, tireless wings and deeds. O Ashvins, you made him cross over.

Stanza 7.69.8

नू मे॒ हव॒मा शृ॑णुतं युवाना यासि॒ष्टं व॒र्तिर॑श्विना॒विरा॑वत् | ध॒त्तं रत्ना॑नि॒ जर॑तं च सू॒रीन्यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः ||

nū́ me hávam ā́ śr̥ṇutaṁ yuvānā yāsiṣṭáṁ vartír aśvināv írāvat dhattáṁ rátnāni járataṁ ca sūrī́n yūyám pāta svastíbhiḥ sádā naḥ

Now hear our call, O youthful twins; come to the abundant home. Grant riches and honor the wise; you, O Ashvins, protect us always with well-being.
