आ मां मि॑त्रावरुणे॒ह र॑क्षतं कुला॒यय॑द्वि॒श्वय॒न्मा न॒ आ ग॑न् | अ॒ज॒का॒वं दु॒र्दृशी॑कं ति॒रो द॑धे॒ मा मां पद्ये॑न॒ रप॑सा विद॒त्त्सरुः॑ ||
ā́ mā́m mitrāvaruṇehá rakṣataṁ kulāyáyad viśváyan mā́ na ā́ gan ajakāváṁ durdŕ̥śīkaṁ tiró dadhe mā́ mā́m pádyena rápasā vidat tsáruḥ
O Mitra and Varuṇa, protect me here! May that which nests and grows within not come to me. I cast away the deadly, ill-seen creature; may the insidious worm not grasp my foot with its poison.
The speaker invokes the divine pair Mitra and Varuna for protection from unseen dangers. They are asked to guard against something that nests and grows within, and to keep away a sightly yet venomous creature (like a scorpion) and a subtle, creeping worm that can harm the foot.

yád vijā́man páruṣi vándanam bhúvad aṣṭhīvántau pári kulphaú ca déhat agníṣ ṭác chócann ápa bādhatām itó mā́ mā́m pádyena rápasā vidat tsáruḥ
Whatever eruption appears on the joints, and whatever spreads around the ankles and knees, may the shining Agni banish it far away. May the insidious worm not grasp my foot with its poison.
The speaker prays to Agni, the radiant one, to dispel afflictions that manifest in the joints or spread over the knees and ankles. These are described as erupting or spreading conditions, likely forms of pain or disease. The verse reiterates the plea to be protected from the subtle, harmful worm.

यच्छ॑ल्म॒लौ भव॑ति॒ यन्न॒दीषु॒ यदोष॑धीभ्यः॒ परि॒ जाय॑ते वि॒षम् | विश्वे॑ दे॒वा निरि॒तस्तत्सु॑वन्तु॒ मा मां पद्ये॑न॒ रप॑सा विद॒त्त्सरुः॑ ||
yác chalmalaú bhávati yán nadī́ṣu yád óṣadhībhyaḥ pári jā́yate viṣám víśve devā́ nír itás tát suvantu mā́ mā́m pádyena rápasā vidat tsáruḥ
Whatever poison is on the Śālmalī tree, whatever is in the rivers, whatever poison arises from plants, may all the gods drive all of that away. May the insidious worm not grasp my foot with its poison.
The speaker asks all the gods to remove any poison that is found on the Śālmalī tree, in rivers, or produced by plants. This prayer is made to counteract various forms of toxicity in the environment, and it is followed by the repeated plea to be protected from the harmful worm.

yā́ḥ praváto niváta udváta udanvátīr anudakā́ś ca yā́ḥ tā́ asmábhyam páyasā pínvamānāḥ śivā́ devī́r aśipadā́ bhavantu sárvā nadyò aśimidā́ bhavantu
May those [rivers] that flow down, in valleys, uphill, full of water, and those without water, may they all, swelling with nourishment, become gracious goddesses, free from the 'aśipadā' disease. May all rivers be free from 'aśimidā'.
The stanza shifts focus to the rivers, personified as goddesses. The speaker prays that the various rivers – those flowing downwards, in valleys, uphill, full of water, and dry – may all become gracious and harmless, specifically free from a disease called 'aśipadā' and that all rivers be free from 'aśimidā' (likely related afflictions).
