Stanza 7.49.1

स॒मु॒द्रज्ये॑ष्ठाः सलि॒लस्य॒ मध्या॑त्पुना॒ना य॒न्त्यनि॑विशमानाः | इन्द्रो॒ या व॒ज्री वृ॑ष॒भो र॒राद॒ ता आपो॑ दे॒वीरि॒ह माम॑वन्तु ||

samudrájyeṣṭhāḥ salilásya mádhyāt punānā́ yanty ániviśamānāḥ índro yā́ vajrī́ vr̥ṣabhó rarā́da tā́ ā́po devī́r ihá mā́m avantu

With the ocean as their leader, they flow from the middle of the water, cleansing and never ceasing. May those divine waters, for whom Indra, the wielder of the thunderbolt, the strong one, carved out channels, protect me here.

Stanza 7.49.2

या आपो॑ दि॒व्या उ॒त वा॒ स्रव॑न्ति ख॒नित्रि॑मा उ॒त वा॒ याः स्व॑यं॒जाः | स॒मु॒द्रार्था॒ याः शुच॑यः पाव॒कास्ता आपो॑ दे॒वीरि॒ह माम॑वन्तु ||

yā́ ā́po divyā́ utá vā srávanti khanítrimā utá vā yā́ḥ svayaṁjā́ḥ samudrā́rthā yā́ḥ śúcayaḥ pāvakā́s tā́ ā́po devī́r ihá mā́m avantu

May those divine waters, whether they come from the sky, or flow in channels, or spring forth by themselves, which are clear, pure, and have the ocean as their destination, protect me here.

Stanza 7.49.3

यासां॒ राजा॒ वरु॑णो॒ याति॒ मध्ये॑ सत्यानृ॒ते अ॑व॒पश्य॒ञ्जना॑नाम् | म॒धु॒श्चुतः॒ शुच॑यो॒ याः पा॑व॒कास्ता आपो॑ दे॒वीरि॒ह माम॑वन्तु ||

yā́sāṁ rā́jā váruṇo yā́ti mádhye satyānr̥té avapáśyañ jánānām madhuścútaḥ śúcayo yā́ḥ pāvakā́s tā́ ā́po devī́r ihá mā́m avantu

May those divine waters, in the midst of which King Varuna moves, observing the truth and falsehood of people, which drip with sweetness, are pure, and purifying, protect me here.

Stanza 7.49.4

यासु॒ राजा॒ वरु॑णो॒ यासु॒ सोमो॒ विश्वे॑ दे॒वा यासूर्जं॒ मद॑न्ति | वै॒श्वा॒न॒रो यास्व॒ग्निः प्रवि॑ष्ट॒स्ता आपो॑ दे॒वीरि॒ह माम॑वन्तु ||

yā́su rā́jā váruṇo yā́su sómo víśve devā́ yā́sū́rjam mádanti vaiśvānaró yā́sv agníḥ práviṣṭas tā́ ā́po devī́r ihá mā́m avantu

May those divine waters, in which King Varuna, in which Soma, and in which all the gods delight in strength; into which Agni Vaishvanara has entered, protect me here.
