May the Brahmans and the Angirasas come forward! May the loud roar of the cloudy sky surround us! May the milk-yielding cows, flowing with abundance, come! Let the stones be set for the uninterrupted sacrifice.

Agni, may your long-known path be easy! Yoke your swift, ruddy, and red horses for the pressing of Soma. O Hero-bearer, seated in the house, I call the generations of the gods.

You, with reverence, magnify your sacrifice. The joyful priest has come near, yet seems left behind. O you of many forms, bring the gods here! Turn Aramati, the divine object of worship, towards us.

When the guest, delightful and rich, has made himself known in the house, may he, well-pleased and well-established in the home, give us desirable wealth.

Stanza 7.42.5

Agni, be pleased with this sacrifice of ours and make us glorious with the Maruts and Indra. Let Night and Dawn, desirous, sit here on the sacred grass. Mitra and Varuṇa, sacrifice here.

Stanza 7.42.6

Thus, Vasishtha, desiring riches, praised Agni, the mighty and victorious, the giver of all sustenance. May he spread forth food, wealth, and abundance for us. You all, protect us always with blessings.
