Stanza 7.39.1

ūrdhvó agníḥ sumatíṁ vásvo aśret pratīcī́ jūrṇír devátātim eti bhejā́te ádrī rathyèva pánthām r̥táṁ hótā na iṣitó yajāti

May Agni, upright, attain good-will and wealth. The bright flame proceeds to the assembly of the gods. Like a charioteer finding his path, the two divine entities move. May the invoked priest, inspired, offer sacrifice for us.

Stanza 7.39.2

prá vāvr̥je suprayā́ barhír eṣām ā́ viśpátīva bī́riṭa iyāte viśā́m aktór uṣásaḥ pūrváhūtau vāyúḥ pūṣā́ svastáye niyútvān

The sacred grass spread forth easily. These two, like rulers among their people, move. At the early call of Night and Dawn, may Vayu and Pushan, with his team, bring us well-being.

Stanza 7.39.3

jmayā́ átra vásavo ranta devā́ urā́v antárikṣe marjayanta śubhrā́ḥ arvā́k pathá urujrayaḥ kr̥ṇudhvaṁ śrótā dūtásya jagmúṣo no asyá

Here, the Vasus, the gods, rejoiced on the earth. The bright ones cleansed themselves in the wide firmament. Make the path ahead broad and easy to traverse. Hear, you who are swift-moving, our messenger who has gone forth.

Stanza 7.39.4

té hí yajñéṣu yajñíyāsa ū́māḥ sadhásthaṁ víśve abhí sánti devā́ḥ tā́m̐ adhvará uśató yakṣy agne śruṣṭī́ bhágaṁ nā́satyā púraṁdhim

For they are the worthy ones in sacrifices, the all-encompassing gods. All the gods are present in the place of assembly. Agni, bring them to the sacrifice, who desire; bring Bhaga, the Nasatyas, and Purandhi.

Stanza 7.39.5

ā́gne gíro divá ā́ pr̥thivyā́ mitráṁ vaha váruṇam índram agním ā́ryamáṇam áditiṁ víṣṇum eṣāṁ sárasvatī marúto mādayantām

O Agni, bring our hymns from heaven and earth. Bring Mitra, Varuna, Indra, Agni, Aryaman, Aditi, and Vishnu. May Sarasvati and the Maruts, from these, be gladdened.

Stanza 7.39.6

raré havyám matíbhir yajñíyānāṁ nákṣat kā́mam mártyānām ásinvan dhā́tā rayím avidasyáṁ sadāsā́ṁ sakṣīmáhi yújyebhir nú devaíḥ

The offering is made with thoughts, desiring the wish of the mortals. They are not satiated. O Dhata, grant us abundant, unfailing wealth. May we be victorious with the allied gods.

Stanza 7.39.7

nū́ ródasī abhíṣṭute vásiṣṭhair r̥tā́vāno váruṇo mitró agníḥ yáchantu candrā́ upamáṁ no arkáṁ yūyám pāta svastíbhiḥ sádā naḥ

Now the two realms have been praised by the Vasishthas. Varuna, Mitra, and Agni are orderly. May they, the bright ones, grant our supreme hymn. You all, protect us always with well-being.
