आ वो॒ वाहि॑ष्ठो वहतु स्त॒वध्यै॒ रथो॑ वाजा ऋभुक्षणो॒ अमृ॑क्तः | अ॒भि त्रि॑पृ॒ष्ठैः सव॑नेषु॒ सोमै॒र्मदे॑ सुशिप्रा म॒हभिः॑ पृणध्वम् ||
ā́ vo vā́hiṣṭho vahatu stavádhyai rátho vājā r̥bhukṣaṇo ámr̥ktaḥ abhí tripr̥ṣṭhaíḥ sávaneṣu sómair máde suśiprā mahábhiḥ pr̥ṇadhvam
May your most swiftly moving chariot, uninjured and worthy of praise, carry you to us, along with strength and the R̥bhukṣaṇas. Fill yourselves, O you with beautiful helmets, with the Soma at our libations, with great abundance, for our delight.

You, O R̥bhukṣaṇas, who see the heavens, place wealth among the generous. Unite, O possessors of power, at our sacrifices and drink; bestow upon us bounties with your wisdom.
This stanza directly addresses the R̥bhukṣaṇas, praising their ability to bestow wealth and their heavenly appearance. It urges them to place their precious gifts among those who are generous (maghavat), and to drink the Soma at sacrifices, promising them offerings and hymns in return.

You have indeed declared, O Bountiful One, your accustomed giving, whether it be of great or small wealth. Both your arms are filled with riches; your goodness does not withhold them from us.

You, Indra, possess your own glory; you are the R̥bhukṣaṇa and Vāja. You move towards home like a skilled one. May we, your worshippers, O lord of steeds, always be yours, making our prayers and hymns to you.
This stanza addresses Indra, calling him self-glorious, skilled like the R̥bhukṣaṇas, and active like Vāja. It acknowledges his movement towards home and invites him, the lord of bay steeds, to accept their offerings and hymns, wishing to be his devoted servants.

You are a winner for the worshipper, O lord of steeds, with your wisdom. We have sought your aid with our powers, and now, O Indra, when will you give us wealth?

You, O Indra, make us, the thinkers, dwell as in a home. When will you recognize our praise? May your swift horse, with our ancestral worship and hymns, bring us food and heroes.
