Stanza 7.29.1

अ॒यं सोम॑ इन्द्र॒ तुभ्यं॑ सुन्व॒ आ तु प्र या॑हि हरिव॒स्तदो॑काः | पिबा॒ त्व१॒॑स्य सुषु॑तस्य॒ चारो॒र्ददो॑ म॒घानि॑ मघवन्निया॒नः ||

ayáṁ sóma indra túbhyaṁ sunva ā́ tú prá yāhi harivas tádokāḥ píbā tv àsyá súṣutasya cā́ror dádo maghā́ni maghavann iyānáḥ

This Soma has been pressed for you, Indra. Come quickly, O Lord of the Bays, you who love this place. Drink this delightful, well-pressed Soma. O Maghavan, bestow wealth upon us when we ask.

Stanza 7.29.2

ब्रह्म॑न्वीर॒ ब्रह्म॑कृतिं जुषा॒णो॑ऽर्वाची॒नो हरि॑भिर्याहि॒ तूय॑म् | अ॒स्मिन्नू॒ षु सव॑ने मादय॒स्वोप॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि शृणव इ॒मा नः॑ ||

bráhman vīra bráhmakr̥tiṁ juṣāṇò 'rvācīnó háribhir yāhi tū́yam asmínn ū ṣú sávane mādayasvópa bráhmāṇi śr̥ṇava imā́ naḥ

O Hero, O Indra, accepting our devotion and praise, come swiftly with your horses. Delight yourself in this libation. Listen to our prayers and praises.

Stanza 7.29.3

का ते॑ अ॒स्त्यरं॑कृतिः सू॒क्तैः क॒दा नू॒नं ते॑ मघवन्दाशेम | विश्वा॑ म॒तीरा त॑तने त्वा॒याधा॑ म इन्द्र शृणवो॒ हवे॒मा ||

kā́ te asty áraṁkr̥tiḥ sūktaíḥ kadā́ nūnáṁ te maghavan dāśema víśvā matī́r ā́ tatane tvāyā́dhā ma indra śr̥ṇavo hávemā́

What is your satisfaction with our hymns? When, O Maghavan, will we serve you? I weave all my thoughts and intentions towards you. Then, O Indra, listen to these my calls.

Stanza 7.29.4

उ॒तो घा॒ ते पु॑रु॒ष्या॒३॒॑ इदा॑स॒न्येषां॒ पूर्वे॑षा॒मशृ॑णो॒र्ऋषी॑णाम् | अधा॒हं त्वा॑ मघवञ्जोहवीमि॒ त्वं न॑ इन्द्रासि॒ प्रम॑तिः पि॒तेव॑ ||

utó ghā té puruṣyāā̀ íd āsan yéṣām pū́rveṣām áśr̥ṇor ŕ̥ṣīṇām ádhāháṁ tvā maghavañ johavīmi tváṁ na indrāsi prámatiḥ pitéva

Indeed, they were human beings, those past sages whose prayers you heard. Therefore, O Indra Maghavan, I call upon you. You are our protector, like a father.

Stanza 7.29.5

वो॒चेमेदिन्द्रं॑ म॒घवा॑नमेनं म॒हो रा॒यो राध॑सो॒ यद्दद॑न्नः | यो अर्च॑तो॒ ब्रह्म॑कृति॒मवि॑ष्ठो यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः ||

vocéméd índram maghávānam enam mahó rāyó rā́dhaso yád dádan naḥ yó árcato bráhmakr̥tim áviṣṭho yūyám pāta svastíbhiḥ sádā naḥ

We will call upon Indra, the generous giver, so that he may give us great wealth. He is the best protector of the worshipper and the praiser. Protect us always, O Indra, with well-being.
