Stanza 7.27.1
इन्द्रं॒ नरो॑ ने॒मधि॑ता हवन्ते॒ यत्पार्या॑ यु॒नज॑ते॒ धिय॒स्ताः | शूरो॒ नृषा॑ता॒ शव॑सश्चका॒न आ गोम॑ति व्र॒जे भ॑जा॒ त्वं नः॑ ||
índraṁ náro nemádhitā havante yát pā́ryā yunájate dhíyas tā́ḥ śū́ro nŕ̥ṣātā śávasaś cakāná ā́ gómati vrajé bhajā tváṁ naḥ
Men call upon Indra in the thick of battle and when they face challenges, so that he may make their endeavors fruitful. O hero, rejoicing in your might, grant us a share of wealth and prosperity in our fortified settlements.
Men invoke Indra, the powerful god, during battles and in the midst of challenges, hoping for his support to make their efforts successful. They pray to him, as a heroic figure, to bestow upon them strength, wealth, and prosperity, symbolized by cattle, within the secure confines of their domain.

yá indra śúṣmo maghavan te ásti śíkṣā sákhibhyaḥ puruhūta nŕ̥bhyaḥ tváṁ hí dr̥ḷhā́ maghavan vícetā ápā vr̥dhi párivr̥taṁ ná rā́dhaḥ
Indra, powerful one, grant to your friends the strength that you possess. You, the wise and much-invoked one, who has opened strong places, reveal your hidden gifts to us.
The devotee addresses Indra, acknowledging his immense power and generosity, and requests him to share his strength with his companions. The verse also implores Indra to break through obstacles and reveal his hidden treasures and blessings to those who invoke and praise him.

índro rā́jā jágataś carṣaṇīnā́m ádhi kṣámi víṣurūpaṁ yád ásti táto dadāti dāśúṣe vásūni códad rā́dha úpastutaś cid arvā́k
Indra is the king of the world and of all people. Whatever is diverse and exists on earth, from there he gives riches to the worshipper. May he also impel his bounty towards us, even when praised.
Indra is declared the king of the entire world and all humankind. He possesses and distributes diverse forms of wealth found on earth. The verse emphasizes his role as a giver, bestowing riches upon those who offer him sacrifices and praises, and also benefiting those who laud him.

nū́ cin na índro maghávā sáhūtī dānó vā́jaṁ ní yamate na ūtī́ ánūnā yásya dákṣiṇā pīpā́ya vāmáṁ nŕ̥bhyo abhívītā sákhibhyaḥ
When we call upon Indra, the generous one, together, he grants us wealth and protection. His unfailing bounty, which always thrives, brings possessions to men and friends.
The devotee reminds Indra, the bounteous giver, that when people call upon him together, he generously bestows abundance and protection. It is his perfect and unfailing bounty that brings wealth to men and their friends, fulfilling their desires.

nū́ indra rāyé várivas kr̥dhī na ā́ te máno vavr̥tyāma maghā́ya gómad áśvāvad ráthavad vyánto yūyám pāta svastíbhiḥ sádā naḥ
Now, Indra, make ample room for us to gain riches. May we turn our minds towards you to gain wealth, possessing cows, horses, and chariots. You all protect us always with well-being.
The devotee urges Indra to quickly provide them with ample space and resources for wealth. They express their desire to direct their minds and devotion towards Indra to obtain riches, including cattle, horses, and chariots. The verse concludes with a prayer to the gods for continuous protection and well-being.
