त्वे ह॒ यत्पि॒तर॑श्चिन्न इन्द्र॒ विश्वा॑ वा॒मा ज॑रि॒तारो॒ अस॑न्वन् | त्वे गावः॑ सु॒दुघा॒स्त्वे ह्यश्वा॒स्त्वं वसु॑ देवय॒ते वनि॑ष्ठः ||
tvé ha yát pitáraś cin na indra víśvā vāmā́ jaritā́ro ásanvan tvé gā́vaḥ sudúghās tvé hy áśvās tváṁ vásu devayaté vániṣṭhaḥ
Indeed, O Indra, all wealth and treasures that our praising fathers possessed are with you. With you are the cows that give plentiful milk, with you are the horses. You are indeed the bestower of riches for those who worship you.

Indeed, you are like a king among many consorts. O powerful one, surround us with your glories, like a wise seer. Strengthen us for wealth and honor, O Indra, with cows and horses.

Like a cow eager to be milked, O Indra, Vasishtha offered his prayers to you. All people call you the Lord of cattle. May Indra grant us his favor and protection.

Even when the waters spread widely, Indra made them shallow for Sudas. He subdued the enemy Simyu and made the rivers harmless.
