Stanza 7.11.1

म॒हाँ अ॑स्यध्व॒रस्य॑ प्रके॒तो न ऋ॒ते त्वद॒मृता॑ मादयन्ते | आ विश्वे॑भिः स॒रथं॑ याहि दे॒वैर्न्य॑ग्ने॒ होता॑ प्रथ॒मः स॑दे॒ह ||

mahā́m̐ asy adhvarásya praketó ná r̥té tvád amŕ̥tā mādayante ā́ víśvebhiḥ saráthaṁ yāhi devaír ny àgne hótā prathamáḥ sadehá

You are great, Agni, the knower of the sacrifice. Without you, the immortal gods cannot be made joyful. Come with all the gods, and take your seat here as the first priest.

Stanza 7.11.2

त्वामी॑ळते अजि॒रं दू॒त्या॑य ह॒विष्म॑न्तः॒ सद॒मिन्मानु॑षासः | यस्य॑ दे॒वैरास॑दो ब॒र्हिर॒ग्नेऽहा॑न्यस्मै सु॒दिना॑ भवन्ति ||

tvā́m īḷate ajiráṁ dūtyāā̀ya havíṣmantaḥ sádam ín mā́nuṣāsaḥ yásya devaír ā́sado barhír agné 'hāny asmai sudínā bhavanti

Humans, with offerings, worship you, the swift one, for your messenger service. For him whose seat you share with the gods on the sacred grass, O Agni, the days become good.

Stanza 7.11.3

त्रिश्चि॑द॒क्तोः प्र चि॑कितु॒र्वसू॑नि॒ त्वे अ॒न्तर्दा॒शुषे॒ मर्त्या॑य | म॒नु॒ष्वद॑ग्न इ॒ह य॑क्षि दे॒वान्भवा॑ नो दू॒तो अ॑भिशस्ति॒पावा॑ ||

tríś cid aktóḥ prá cikitur vásūni tvé antár dāśúṣe mártyāya manuṣvád agna ihá yakṣi devā́n bhávā no dūtó abhiśastipā́vā

Three times daily, your brilliance is perceived, revealing wealth. Within you, O Agni, for the mortal who offers, reside treasures. Perform the worship of the gods here like a man; be our envoy, protecting us from curses.

Stanza 7.11.4

अ॒ग्निरी॑शे बृह॒तो अ॑ध्व॒रस्या॒ग्निर्विश्व॑स्य ह॒विषः॑ कृ॒तस्य॑ | क्रतुं॒ ह्य॑स्य॒ वस॑वो जु॒षन्ताथा॑ दे॒वा द॑धिरे हव्य॒वाह॑म् ||

agnír īśe br̥ható adhvarásyāgnír víśvasya havíṣaḥ kr̥tásya krátuṁ hy àsya vásavo juṣántā́thā devā́ dadhire havyavā́ham

Agni rules over the great sacrifice. Agni rules over all the prepared offerings. For indeed the Vasus pleased his wisdom. Then the gods appointed him the bearer of offerings.

Stanza 7.11.5

आग्ने॑ वह हवि॒रद्या॑य दे॒वानिन्द्र॑ज्येष्ठास इ॒ह मा॑दयन्ताम् | इ॒मं य॒ज्ञं दि॒वि दे॒वेषु॑ धेहि यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः ||

ā́gne vaha havirádyāya devā́n índrajyeṣṭhāsa ihá mādayantām imáṁ yajñáṁ diví devéṣu dhehi yūyám pāta svastíbhiḥ sádā naḥ

O Agni, bring the gods to accept the offerings. May they, with Indra foremost, rejoice here. Place this sacrifice in the sky among the gods. You all, O gods, protect us always with blessings.
