Stanza 6.73.1

यो अ॑द्रि॒भित्प्र॑थम॒जा ऋ॒तावा॒ बृह॒स्पति॑राङ्गिर॒सो ह॒विष्मा॑न् | द्वि॒बर्ह॑ज्मा प्राघर्म॒सत्पि॒ता न॒ आ रोद॑सी वृष॒भो रो॑रवीति ||

yó adribhít prathamajā́ r̥tā́vā bŕ̥haspátir āṅgirasó havíṣmān dvibárhajmā prāgharmasát pitā́ na ā́ ródasī vr̥ṣabhó roravīti

He, the first-born, who upholds cosmic order, Brhaspati, the son of Angiras, who is rich in offerings, with a two-fold expansive nature, our Father, the bull, roars loudly across the earth and sky.

Stanza 6.73.2

जना॑य चि॒द्य ईव॑त उ लो॒कं बृह॒स्पति॑र्दे॒वहू॑तौ च॒कार॑ | घ्नन्वृ॒त्राणि॒ वि पुरो॑ दर्दरीति॒ जय॒ञ्छत्रूँ॑र॒मित्रा॑न्पृ॒त्सु साह॑न् ||

jánāya cid yá ī́vata ulokám bŕ̥haspátir deváhūtau cakā́ra ghnán vr̥trā́ṇi ví púro dardarīti jáyañ chátrūm̐r amítrān pr̥tsú sā́han

Brhaspati, when invoked by the gods, created wide space for even the people. He smashes through obstacles, demolishes forts, and conquers enemies and adversaries in battles.

Stanza 6.73.3

बृह॒स्पतिः॒ सम॑जय॒द्वसू॑नि म॒हो व्र॒जान्गोम॑तो दे॒व ए॒षः | अ॒पः सिषा॑स॒न्त्स्व१॒॑रप्र॑तीतो॒ बृह॒स्पति॒र्हन्त्य॒मित्र॑म॒र्कैः ||

bŕ̥haspátiḥ sám ajayad vásūni mahó vrajā́n gómato devá eṣáḥ apáḥ síṣāsan svàr ápratīto bŕ̥haspátir hánty amítram arkaíḥ

Brhaspati conquered riches, and the great stalls full of cattle. This divine one, desiring waters and light, struck down the enemy with his irresistible brilliance.
