उदु॒ ष्य दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता हि॑र॒ण्यया॑ बा॒हू अ॑यंस्त॒ सव॑नाय सु॒क्रतुः॑ | घृ॒तेन॑ पा॒णी अ॒भि प्रु॑ष्णुते म॒खो युवा॑ सु॒दक्षो॒ रज॑सो॒ विध॑र्मणि ||

The divine Savitr has stretched out his golden arms for the Soma pressing. Young and wise, he sprinkles his hands with ghee, the mighty one, as he holds the sky in place.
The great god Savitr, with his radiant, golden arms, prepares the world for the ritualistic pressing of Soma (savana). He is depicted as young, skillful, and powerful, controlling the cosmic expanse (rajasa). His hands, anointed with ghee (fat), signify divine anointment and readiness for action.

May we be in the excellent impulse of the god Savitr and in his generous gifts of wealth. For you, oh God, are the creator and sustainer of all that moves on two feet and four feet.
