The Earth and Sky, full of nourishment and encompassing all beings, are wide and spacious, yielding sweet sustenance. Held firm by Varuna's order, they are ageless and possess boundless energy.
This verse describes the vast and fertile nature of the Earth and Sky (Dyava-Prithvi). They are depicted as being full of nourishment ('ghr̥tavatī'), encompassing all realms ('bhūvanānāmabhiśriyā'), wide and spacious ('urvī́ pr̥thvī́'), and capable of yielding sweet sustenance ('madhudughé'). Supported by Varuṇa's cosmic order ('váruṇasya dhármaṇā'), they are ageless ('ajáre') and possess immense energy ('bhū́riretasā'), remaining stable and unending.
