eṣā́ syā́ no duhitā́ divojā́ḥ kṣitī́r uchántī mā́nuṣīr ajīgaḥ yā́ bhānúnā rúśatā rāmyā́sv ájñāyi tirás támasaś cid aktū́n

This daughter of the sky, born of the heavens, has awakened us from sleep, illuminating human dwellings. She, who shines with her bright, colorful light, has made herself known, even piercing through the darkness of night.

Stanza 6.65.2

ví tád yayur aruṇayúgbhir áśvaiś citrám bhānty uṣásaś candrárathāḥ ágraṁ yajñásya br̥ható náyantīr ví tā́ bādhante táma ū́rmyāyāḥ

They (the dawns) have moved onward with reddish-hued horses. The dawns, on their brilliant chariots, shine wonderfully, bringing the beginning of the great sacrifice. They push away the darkness of the night.

Stanza 6.65.3

śrávo vā́jam íṣam ū́rjaṁ váhantīr ní dāśúṣa uṣaso mártyāya maghónīr vīrávat pátyamānā ávo dhāta vidhaté rátnam adyá

Bringing glory, abundance, strength, and vigor, O Dawns, approach the worshipper. O wealthy ones, like heroes, bestow wealth upon the one who honors you and today grant riches to the one who performs the ritual.

Stanza 6.65.4

idā́ hí vo vidhaté rátnam ástīdā́ vīrā́ya dāśúṣa uṣāsaḥ idā́ víprāya járate yád ukthā́ ní ṣma mā́vate vahathā purā́ cit

Indeed, now there is treasure for you who worships, O Dawns. Now for the hero who offers oblations, and for the singer when he praises. You have granted it before, even to one like me.

Stanza 6.65.5

idā́ hí ta uṣo adrisāno gotrā́ gávām áṅgiraso gr̥ṇánti vy àrkéṇa bibhidur bráhmaṇā ca satyā́ nr̥ṇā́m abhavad deváhūtiḥ

Indeed, O Dawn, standing on the mountain, the Angirases praise your wealth of cows. With hymns and prayers, they broke through. The invocation of the gods by mortals became true.

Stanza 6.65.6

uchā́ divo duhitaḥ pratnaván no bharadvājavád vidhaté maghoni suvī́raṁ rayíṁ gr̥ṇaté rirīhy urugāyám ádhi dhehi śrávo naḥ

Shine, daughter of the sky, as before, O wealthy Dawn! Favor us, like Bharadvaja, with heroes and riches. Grant abundant glory to the singer who praises.
