Stanza 6.59.1

प्र नु वो॑चा सु॒तेषु॑ वां वी॒र्या॒३॒॑ यानि॑ च॒क्रथुः॑ | ह॒तासो॑ वां पि॒तरो॑ दे॒वश॑त्रव॒ इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ जीव॑थो यु॒वम् ||

prá nú vocā sutéṣu vāṁ vīryāā̀ yā́ni cakráthuḥ hatā́so vām pitáro deváśatrava índrāgnī jī́vatho yuvám

Now I will declare your mighty deeds, Indra and Agni, as the Soma is pressed. Your fathers, enemies of the gods, were slain. You, Indra and Agni, continue to live.

Stanza 6.59.2

बळि॒त्था म॑हि॒मा वा॒मिन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ पनि॑ष्ठ॒ आ | स॒मा॒नो वां॑ जनि॒ता भ्रात॑रा यु॒वं य॒मावि॒हेह॑मातरा ||

báḷ itthā́ mahimā́ vām índrāgnī pániṣṭha ā́ samānó vāṁ janitā́ bhrā́tarā yuváṁ yamā́v ihéhamātarā

Your greatness, Indra and Agni, is indeed immense. Your father is the same, you are brothers, twins. Your mother is everywhere.

Stanza 6.59.3

ओ॒कि॒वांसा॑ सु॒ते सचाँ॒ अश्वा॒ सप्ती॑ इ॒वाद॑ने | इन्द्रा॒ न्व१॒॑ग्नी अव॑से॒ह व॒ज्रिणा॑ व॒यं दे॒वा ह॑वामहे ||

okivā́ṁsā suté sácām̐ áśvā sáptī ivā́dane índrā nv àgnī́ ávasehá vajríṇā vayáṁ devā́ havāmahe

You who delight in the Soma-offering, like two horses together at the feeding place, Indra and Agni, with your thunderbolts, we call you to help us here.

Stanza 6.59.4

य इ॑न्द्राग्नी सु॒तेषु॑ वां॒ स्तव॒त्तेष्वृ॑तावृधा | जो॒ष॒वा॒कं वद॑तः पज्रहोषिणा॒ न दे॑वा भ॒सथ॑श्च॒न ||

yá indrāgnī sutéṣu vāṁ stávat téṣv r̥tāvr̥dhā joṣavākáṁ vádataḥ pajrahoṣiṇā ná devā bhasáthaś caná

Indra and Agni, who grow with truth (Rta), when praised in these libations, your speech is pleasing. O Gods, do not abandon us in this great struggle for cows.

Stanza 6.59.5

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ को अ॒स्य वां॒ देवौ॒ मर्त॑श्चिकेतति | विषू॑चो॒ अश्वा॑न्युयुजा॒न ई॑यत॒ एकः॑ समा॒न आ रथे॑ ||

índrāgnī kó asyá vāṁ dévau mártaś ciketati víṣūco áśvān yuyujāná īyata ékaḥ samāná ā́ ráthe

Indra and Agni, what mortal understands your ways? One of you, harnessing the horses moving in all directions, proceeds in the common chariot.

Stanza 6.59.6

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी अ॒पादि॒यं पूर्वागा॑त्प॒द्वती॑भ्यः | हि॒त्वी शिरो॑ जि॒ह्वया॒ वाव॑द॒च्चर॑त्त्रिं॒शत्प॒दा न्य॑क्रमीत् ||

índrāgnī apā́d iyám pū́rvā́gāt padvátībhyaḥ hitvī́ śíro jihváyā vā́vadac cárat triṁśát padā́ ny àkramīt

Indra and Agni, this footless one (maid) went before the footed ones. Leaving behind her head, speaking with her tongue, she descended thirty steps.

Stanza 6.59.7

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ आ हि त॑न्व॒ते नरो॒ धन्वा॑नि बा॒ह्वोः | मा नो॑ अ॒स्मिन्म॑हाध॒ने परा॑ वर्क्तं॒ गवि॑ष्टिषु ||

índrāgnī ā́ hí tanvaté náro dhánvāni bāhvóḥ mā́ no asmín mahādhané párā varktaṁ gáviṣṭiṣu

Indra and Agni, indeed now men stretch their bows in their arms. O Gods, do not abandon us in this great conflict, in the battles for cows.

Stanza 6.59.8

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ तप॑न्ति मा॒घा अ॒र्यो अरा॑तयः | अप॒ द्वेषां॒स्या कृ॑तं युयु॒तं सूर्या॒दधि॑ ||

índrāgnī tápanti māghā́ aryó árātayaḥ ápa dvéṣāṁsy ā́ kr̥taṁ yuyutáṁ sū́ryād ádhi

Indra and Agni, the hostile acts of the ungenerous torment me. Drive away the hateful ones, keep them distant from the Sun.

Stanza 6.59.9

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी यु॒वोरपि॒ वसु॑ दि॒व्यानि॒ पार्थि॑वा | आ न॑ इ॒ह प्र य॑च्छतं र॒यिं वि॒श्वायु॑पोषसम् ||

índrāgnī yuvór ápi vásu divyā́ni pā́rthivā ā́ na ihá prá yachataṁ rayíṁ viśvā́yupoṣasam

Indra and Agni, indeed all treasures, heavenly and earthly, are yours. Here, grant us wealth that sustains all life.

Stanza 6.59.10

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी उक्थवाहसा॒ स्तोमे॑भिर्हवनश्रुता | विश्वा॑भिर्गी॒र्भिरा ग॑तम॒स्य सोम॑स्य पी॒तये॑ ||

índrāgnī ukthavāhasā stómebhir havanaśrutā víśvābhir gīrbhír ā́ gatam asyá sómasya pītáye

Indra and Agni, who carry the hymns, and hear the calls, come to us with all our songs, to drink this Soma.
