Stanza 6.55.1

एहि॒ वां वि॑मुचो नपा॒दाघृ॑णे॒ सं स॑चावहै | र॒थीर्ऋ॒तस्य॑ नो भव ||

éhi vā́ṁ vimuco napād ā́ghr̥ṇe sáṁ sacāvahai rathī́r r̥tásya no bhava

Come, O bright one, sons of Deliverance! Let us two go together. Be our charioteers of truth and order.

Stanza 6.55.2

र॒थीत॑मं कप॒र्दिन॒मीशा॑नं॒ राध॑सो म॒हः | रा॒यः सखा॑यमीमहे ||

rathī́tamaṁ kapardínam ī́śānaṁ rā́dhaso maháḥ rāyáḥ sákhāyam īmahe

We pray for great wealth to you, the most excellent charioteer, the one with braided hair, the lord of riches, our friend.

Stanza 6.55.3

रा॒यो धारा॑स्याघृणे॒ वसो॑ रा॒शिर॑जाश्व | धीव॑तोधीवतः॒ सखा॑ ||

rāyó dhā́rāsy āghr̥ṇe váso rāśír ajāśva dhī́vato-dhīvataḥ sákhā

O bright one, you are a stream of wealth, a heap of treasure. O Ajāśva, you are the friend of the wise.

Stanza 6.55.4

पू॒षणं॒ न्व१॒॑जाश्व॒मुप॑ स्तोषाम वा॒जिन॑म् | स्वसु॒र्यो जा॒र उ॒च्यते॑ ||

pūṣáṇaṁ nv àjā́śvam úpa stoṣāma vājínam svásur yó jārá ucyáte

Now let us praise Pūṣan, who drives goats as steeds, the strong and mighty one, who is called the lover of his sister.

Stanza 6.55.5

मा॒तुर्दि॑धि॒षुम॑ब्रवं॒ स्वसु॑र्जा॒रः शृ॑णोतु नः | भ्रातेन्द्र॑स्य॒ सखा॒ मम॑ ||

mātúr didhiṣúm abravaṁ svásur jāráḥ śr̥ṇotu naḥ bhrā́téndrasya sákhā máma

I have spoken to the suitor of the mother. May the lover of the sister hear us, the brother of Indra, my friend.

Stanza 6.55.6

आजासः॑ पू॒षणं॒ रथे॑ निशृ॒म्भास्ते ज॑न॒श्रिय॑म् | दे॒वं व॑हन्तु॒ बिभ्र॑तः ||

ā́jā́saḥ pūṣáṇaṁ ráthe niśr̥mbhā́s té janaśríyam deváṁ vahantu bíbhrataḥ

May the swift goats, bearing the divine appearance, convey the god Pūṣan on his chariot.
