Stanza 6.34.1

sáṁ ca tvé jagmúr gíra indra pūrvī́r ví ca tvád yanti vibhvò manīṣā́ḥ purā́ nūnáṁ ca stutáya ŕ̥ṣīṇām paspr̥dhrá índre ádhy ukthārkā́

All the songs have come together in you, O Indra, and many brilliant thoughts proceed from you. Both in the past and now, the praises of the sages and their hymns have been directed towards, and have vied for, Indra.

Stanza 6.34.2

puruhūtó yáḥ purugūrtá ŕ̥bhvām̐ ékaḥ purupraśastó ásti yajñaíḥ rátho ná mahé śávase yujānò 'smā́bhir índro anumā́dyo bhūt

He who is called by many, who traverses many paths, and is mighty, the one who is praised by many, exists with sacrifices. Like a chariot harnessed for a great strength, may Indra, joined with us, be worthy of praise.

Stanza 6.34.3

ná yáṁ híṁsanti dhītáyo ná vā́ṇīr índraṁ nákṣantī́d abhí vardháyantīḥ yádi stotā́raḥ śatáṁ yát sahásraṁ gr̥ṇánti gírvaṇasaṁ śáṁ tád asmai

Neither meditations nor words trouble Indra whom they reach, nor do they enhance him. If the praisers sing a hundred or a thousand times to him who loves songs, that indeed is beneficial to him.

Stanza 6.34.4

ásmā etád divy àrcéva māsā́ mimikṣá índre ny àyāmi sómaḥ jánaṁ ná dhánvann abhí sáṁ yád ā́paḥ satrā́ vāvr̥dhur hávanāni yajñaíḥ

For him, this offering is like the twin bright ones in the sky. Soma mixes with Indra. Like waters uniting in a riverbed, our invitations, invigorated by sacrifices, have consistently grown strong for him.

Stanza 6.34.5

ásmā etán máhy āṅgūṣám asmā índrāya stotrám matíbhir avāci ásad yáthā mahatí vr̥tratū́rya índro viśvā́yur avitā́ vr̥dháś ca

This great hymn has been proclaimed by us with our thoughts for him, for Indra, so that, as in the great destruction of Vritra, Indra, the protector of all life and the bestower of strength, may be our helper.
