सु॒त इत्त्वं निमि॑श्ल इन्द्र॒ सोमे॒ स्तोमे॒ ब्रह्म॑णि श॒स्यमा॑न उ॒क्थे | यद्वा॑ यु॒क्ताभ्यां॑ मघव॒न्हरि॑भ्यां॒ बिभ्र॒द्वज्रं॑ बा॒ह्वोरि॑न्द्र॒ यासि॑ ||

O Indra, you are indeed attached to the pressed Soma, present in the hymns and prayers, and invoked in chants. Or, when yoked to your bay horses, O mighty one, you come, Indra, carrying the thunderbolt in your arms.

Or, on that decisive day, you helped the Soma presser in the battle against Vr̥tra. Or, when the strong one feared, you, undaunted, O Indra, caused the defiant Dasyus to perish.
