Stanza 5.9.1
त्वाम॑ग्ने ह॒विष्म॑न्तो दे॒वं मर्ता॑स ईळते | मन्ये॑ त्वा जा॒तवे॑दसं॒ स ह॒व्या व॑क्ष्यानु॒षक् ||
tvā́m agne havíṣmanto devám mártāsa īḷate mánye tvā jātávedasaṁ sá havyā́ vakṣy ānuṣák
O Agni, mortals bring offerings to you, the divine one, and worship you. I believe you are Jātavedas, the one who knows all existence; may you carry our offerings together without interruption.
This verse addresses Agni, the god of fire, invoking him as the recipient of oblations. It states that mortals, bearing offerings, worship Agni, recognizing him as Jātavedas, the knower of all births. The poet expresses the belief that Agni will carry these offerings to the divine realm without fail.

अ॒ग्निर्होता॒ दास्व॑तः॒ क्षय॑स्य वृ॒क्तब॑र्हिषः | सं य॒ज्ञास॒श्चर॑न्ति॒ यं सं वाजा॑सः श्रव॒स्यवः॑ ||
agnír hótā dā́svataḥ kṣáyasya vr̥ktábarhiṣaḥ sáṁ yajñā́saś cáranti yáṁ sáṁ vā́jāsaḥ śravasyávaḥ
Agni is the priest for the generous donor who has spread the sacrificial grass. With him, the sacrifices and glorious gains assemble.
This verse extols Agni as the Hotri (priest) in the home of a generous giver whose sacrificial space is prepared with trimmed grass. It highlights that Agni is the center around which all sacrifices and auspicious gains (vājas) gather.

And the fire-sticks, like parents, brought forth Agni, the new one, like a young child. He is the supporter of human communities, Agni, the excellent sacrificer.

And you are difficult to seize, like a child of something dangerous. O Agni, you who burn many woods, like an animal grazing in the meadow.

And whose smoky flames come together properly, when Trita in the sky bellows like a bellows-operator, sharpening like a bellows-tool.
