May our hymns go forth to the great Vishnu, the mighty one accompanied by the Maruts. May our prayers advance for the sake of Evayamarut, for the powerful, the joyful, the strong, the praiseworthy, the energetic, and the vigorous.

They who were born with greatness and who themselves proclaimed it through their knowledge. O Maruts, Evayamarut, your power is not to be approached by wisdom; their strength cannot be overcome by gifts or might; they are like unassailable mountains.

O Maruts, come to us with a friendly path, listen to the call of the praiser. Evayamarut, you who are in accord with the great Vishnu, may you, like charioteers, keep hatred far from us with your deeds.

Come to our sacrifice, O worshipful ones, hear our guileless call. Evayamarut, like the greatest mountains in the sky, may you, O wise ones, be irresistible to the enemy.
