O Agni, the communities have established you, the ancient guest with fiery hair, as their house master. You possess a great radiance, many forms, and are a bringer of wealth, a good protector, and a strong sustainer.

O Agni, human communities praise you, who know the rituals, who discerns, and is the greatest bestower of treasures. Dwelling in secret, O glorious one, you are visible to all, mighty in sound, excellent in worship, and radiant with ghee.
