पु॒रू॒रुणा॑ चि॒द्ध्यस्त्यवो॑ नू॒नं वां॑ वरुण | मित्र॒ वंसि॑ वां सुम॒तिम् ||
purūrúṇā cid dhy ásty ávo nūnáṁ vāṁ varuṇa mítra váṁsi vāṁ sumatím
Indeed, your protection extends far and wide, O Varuna and Mitra. May we now obtain your excellent favor.
The poet addresses the divine twins, Varuna and Mitra, acknowledging the vast reach of their divine grace. He expresses a desire to attain their favor and benevolent regard, indicating that their protection and blessings extend widely.

tā́ vāṁ samyág adruhvāṇéṣam aśyāma dhā́yase vayáṁ té rudrā syāma
May we, the two of you, obtain fully your sustaining nourishment. May we be like you, O Rudras.
The poet prays to the divine twins, Varuna and Mitra, to bestow upon them sustenance and nourishment. He wishes that they, together, may become like the Rudras, implying a desire for strength and divine power, and that they might be protected from harm.

pātáṁ no rudrā pāyúbhir utá trāyethāṁ sutrātrā́ turyā́ma dásyūn tanū́bhiḥ
Protect us, O Rudras, with your protection; indeed, save us. May we, with excellent protectors, overcome the Dasyus with our own powers.
The poet implores the two divine beings, addressed as Rudras, to protect them with their guardianship. He asks them to save them and wishes that with their good protection, they (the humans) may overcome the 'Dasyus' (often interpreted as enemies or non-Vedic people) using their own strength and abilities.

May we not, O wondrous in power, enjoy another's offerings. May we not enjoy, through our descendants, through our remaining wealth, or through our prosperity.
The poet addresses the one with wondrous powers, urging that they should not partake in the possessions or offerings of others. The plea is to avoid enjoying another's feast, or to consume any part of their wealth, whether it be through their descendants, their remaining sustenance, or their overall prosperity.
